    It's funny that you say that while trying to refute a 30+ year trend with one year, in which one month accounts for half of the temp. decrease.
    - Railer, on 03/06/2008, -2/+8Viking neglects to mention that 30 year trend is about 1.4C over 100 years, same as last century and the century before that. It's amazing how those people in the 16th century sure did put out a lot of CO2 to get this warming trend started.
      
      Keep to 30 years viking, because if you pull back that curtain and take a good look at those trends, you might have to think for a moment, and doubt your gospel, and I don't think you'll like it.

      It was previously "since the start of the industrial revolution."
      
      Could we then all (AGW proponent and skeptic alike) agree that any climate change up to 1975 (+/- 5 years) was natural and that any human impact was negligible?

  While you're pointing out who "failed" can you answer a simple question? Why is it that Al Gore gets $200,000 a lecture on global warming, but you cannot ask him even a simple question, during these lectures? Why is Al Gore AFRAID to ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS?

/so, if 2008 or 2009 isn't a record hot year, will Al Gore have to recycle some of his various awards, will people have dropped him like a gay fad, or will people be hailing him as our saving grace, as people sign up to tax themselves into oblivion? if you ask me its a win/win for 'ol goracle.
