You fail.- labelguy, on 02/29/2008, -1/+7Let's just wait and see who is the moron, Time will tell
- dudeguy1234, on 02/29/2008, -8/+3I just talked to time, he said it was you.
- bullcutter, on 03/06/2008, -2/+9so, the findings of four scientific agencies are no longer valid because results from their data are picked up by Fox News? Would it help if it was picked up two weeks earlier by one of the founders of the Weather Channel? Will you agree to eat your words when the data is reported by another source other than these two?
you have to take the good with the bad, even if the "good" isn't good for _you_.- vikingcoder, on 03/06/2008, -7/+2"you have to take the good with the bad, even if the "good" isn't good for _you_."
It's funny that you say that while trying to refute a 30+ year trend with one year, in which one month accounts for half of the temp. decrease.- Railer, on 03/06/2008, -2/+8Viking neglects to mention that 30 year trend is about 1.4C over 100 years, same as last century and the century before that. It's amazing how those people in the 16th century sure did put out a lot of CO2 to get this warming trend started.
Keep to 30 years viking, because if you pull back that curtain and take a good look at those trends, you might have to think for a moment, and doubt your gospel, and I don't think you'll like it. - wrongonce, on 03/06/2008, -1/+3Railer,
At the very least, we have reduced the debate to "climate trend over the last 30 years."
It was previously "since the start of the industrial revolution."
Could we then all (AGW proponent and skeptic alike) agree that any climate change up to 1975 (+/- 5 years) was natural and that any human impact was negligible? - Railer, on 03/06/2008, -1/+4Wrongonce,
I know it's so funny they use 30 years of climate data saying we have global warming and the last 10 have showed no warming at all!
You can't use a 10 year trend or a 50 or a 100 or god forbid 400! It's quickly becoming a running joke.

- Railer, on 03/06/2008, -1/+8"You Fail" ? Good comeback,
While you're pointing out who "failed" can you answer a simple question? Why is it that Al Gore gets $200,000 a lecture on global warming, but you cannot ask him even a simple question, during these lectures? Why is Al Gore AFRAID to ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS?
You Fail, right, another Environmental Luddite. - Stemer, on 03/10/2008, -0/+3Aha! Another moron who thinks Al Gore is for real

- bullcutter, on 03/06/2008, -1/+8"weather cycles... CO2 emissions... ice core samplings... the... the children of our children's children... I have a Nobel Peace Prize dammit!"
/so, if 2008 or 2009 isn't a record hot year, will Al Gore have to recycle some of his various awards, will people have dropped him like a gay fad, or will people be hailing him as our saving grace, as people sign up to tax themselves into oblivion? if you ask me its a win/win for 'ol goracle.- vikingcoder, on 03/06/2008, -8/+2If it is, will you understand that a 1 year decrease does not refute a 30+ year trend?
- Railer, on 03/06/2008, -1/+9You understand the 30 year trend is a small part of a 300 year trend?
- bullcutter, on 03/06/2008, -2/+8yes, i will honestly consider transitioning myself from denierist to skepticist.

- thomoore, on 03/07/2008, -0/+2http://www.scragged.com/articles/the-hot-air-of-cl ... explains that bureaucrats want a bigger department and more clout. Politicians want a crisis - any crisis - so they can ride to power with a "solution." It's a scam, pure and simple, and Mr. Gore has made a lot of money on it.
