- schnikies79, on 04/26/2008, -3/+11The people that were so desperate to leave that they would float 90 miles across open ocean in an igloo cooler disagree with you.
Just saying.... - UrlorJkron, on 04/26/2008, -0/+8So has anyone actually seen Fidel lately?
- EPICFAILURE, on 04/26/2008, -3/+9Let g(x) be the tangent line to f(x) at z, where g(x) = f(z) + f'(z)(x-z). Since f'(z) > 0, the limit as x goes to infinity of g(x) is infinity. From the definition of convexity, the function f(x) lies above its tangents. Therefore, the limit as x goes to infinity of f(x) is also infinity.
I told you I was in the loop.
Fidel Castro - consonance, on 04/26/2008, -4/+9Fidel Castro is in the loop? Yeah, and Hillary Clinton is the upcoming nominee of the Democratic Party.
- reposado, on 04/26/2008, -2/+7Almost all cubans living in the US wants to tear Castro a new one and we have idiot white boys in college loving the dictator. Nice.
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -0/+4He's not dead yet?
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -3/+7I spit on Fidel and I spit on you. Death to the Left.
- AncientWeird, on 04/26/2008, -1/+5mom?
- solid12345, on 04/26/2008, -1/+4If Cuba is such a paradise why aren't it's citizens allowed to come and go and spread their message about how great it is to us?
Never trust a regime that does not let its citizens leave. Of course the Cubans who leave on rafts have guts unlike all the cowardice liberals who said they'd leave if Bush was re-elected but never did. - inactive, on 04/26/2008, -0/+3Just wait til Obama starts doing this *****. You'll simply melt...
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -0/+3You want us to learn about history from a Godfather movie? Are you retarded?
- AdmiralAwsome, on 04/26/2008, -1/+4Bear in mind, that many of those who "float 90 miles across open ocean" are those that felt their power slip away once Batista was overthrown. Once the aristocracy was toppled many people felt that they had somehow been wronged or that they could fare better in America where they may have had some connections.
Just to keep in mind there are two sides to every story... - secleinteer, on 04/26/2008, -3/+6Since f'(z)>0 on (0,∞), f is increasing on (0,∞). As an increasing function increases without bound, its value will also increase without bound, since f(x+1)>f(x) for all x on (0,∞). Thus, lim|x->∞| (f(x)) = ∞.
Sorry, I had to :P - Lazydriver, on 04/26/2008, -0/+3lmao
- 4d669, on 04/26/2008, -1/+3They have an election every 5 years.
- 4d669, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2You Obamabots have reached the point where you repeat whatever Stewart or Bill Maher say. At least quote him you unimaginative semiconscious failure.
- 4d669, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2Yeah, remove the embargo and all of that will change. If they pull of better healthcare and education with it, imagine what they could do with the trade benefits even Vietnam has with the US.
- inactive, on 04/27/2008, -0/+2They DON'T have better education. They DON'T have better healthcare. Just because a lying murderous dictator tells you something that doesn't mean it's a fact. Remember, there ain't no Freedom of Information Act in Cuba.
- hmunkey, on 04/26/2008, -1/+3It IS 90 miles off of Florida...
- zaferk, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2down by the bay
- loudthing, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2where the communism grows
- ninerskeet, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2that'sl exactly what I was gonna say... ***** it, dugg!
- zaferk, on 04/26/2008, -0/+2blow me
- mfc5200, on 04/26/2008, -5/+6Tell that to my family. We had all of our possessions stolen by that man. Then we came here, and had to start over with nothing.
- siszam, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1Take your meds.
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -4/+5Young Fidel is so damn hot. Smoking cigars, looking proud and cocky. But these days he's not so hot. Oh well, I still have all those young Fidel pictures on my walls, waiting for me. I imaging him speaking to me in a deep tone, accent rich, his cigar tip burning hot fire as he looks deep in my eyes with a sultry stare of intense, revolutionary lust. Oh god... brb afk
- whoaohh, on 04/26/2008, -1/+2Cliche Guevara.
- JorgeGT, on 04/26/2008, -1/+2Granma is the official propaganda medium of Cuba's dictatorship, similar to what Pravda was in the URSS.
- Wakuko, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1Whoever believe that ***** should be hung by the balls.
Fidel has been dead for over two years now. - solid12345, on 04/26/2008, -1/+2I hear the Cuban people are just now getting 28k modems and dial up internet, and the quality of this website seems indicative of that.
- schnikies79, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1Most American's DON'T want socialism.
Freedom is greater than socialism, that includes freedom is choose an option that isn't the government. - siszam, on 04/26/2008, -1/+2Why aren't Americans allowed to come and go to Cuba and get the health care that America won't provide for them? Never trust a government who would rather see you die than let you take a trip and get help at another freaking countries expense. That's screwed up and that's the American government. We aren't going to leave. We're staying and fighting for socialism and equality for all classes in American.
- 4d669, on 04/26/2008, -1/+2Everyone should watch the Godfather II for reference of the what the 'golden age' of Cuba really was. The place was basically a free for all for the mafia and drug dealers.
- AdmiralAwsome, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1That's the thing about an aristocracy, it usually lasts more than one generation. Now, those who are leaving now could very well have been children of those from twenty years before. Also, some may be wearing rags but most have clean, well-maintained clothes. They may be spartan but hardly considered "rags".
- schnikies79, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1*freedom to choose
- 4d669, on 04/27/2008, -0/+1Well then, just look at the numbers and statistics of cubans expelled by Fidel and how much of them are involved in the mafia right now ***** up south Miami.
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -5/+6I hope Fidel Castro doesn't win over Hillary Clinton or Obama. If this ***** jew hater ever become president, I move to Canada.
- UrlorJkron, on 04/26/2008, -2/+2Jeez I dugg you up because I thought the first sentence was funny. Then you had to edit it and go over the top. :P
- hmunkey, on 04/26/2008, -2/+2Yes.
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -1/+1I was foaming at the mouth and slamming my fist on the table at the time of my posting, so I lost it.
- medj, on 04/26/2008, -11/+11Can anyone tell me how to answer this calculus question?
Let f be a convex and once-differentiable function on R. Suppose z in R is a point at which f'(z) > 0.
Show that lim|x>∞ f(x)= ∞. - psykiv, on 04/26/2008, -1/+1Castro's still alive? Definitely will NOT be passing by Versailles tomorrow.
- Wakuko, on 04/26/2008, -1/+1"and avoid the spin and anti cuban bias"
Yeah right, cuban propaganda is so unbiased and truthworthy like faux news - inactive, on 04/26/2008, -2/+2They have a one-party referendum every five years, and if you vote against the Party, you'll be lucky if they only cut your food ration and don't take you to prison.
I will join a right wing death squad and kill anyone who makes a serious attempt to bring that kind of "democracy" to my country. - solid12345, on 04/26/2008, -1/+1So was Las Vegas, so what?
Most Cubans in the 50s were profiting off the tourist boom and driving the newest Chevy and Ford cars in Havana that not even many Americans could afford, the place was an economic paradise.
At even though the mob had some power in Cuba, the wealth trickled down to the average Cuban. Now the new mobsters are the communist party who dine on caviar and chianti while their people live in tin huts. - solid12345, on 04/26/2008, -2/+2You mean those single mothers wearing rags carrying a dozen children with him and born 20 years after Batista's fall from power?
- 5urr3al5am, on 04/26/2008, -3/+2Yeah.. I guess if you're for repression.. good for you.. Fidel
- appletalk, on 04/26/2008, -3/+2I have.
- inactive, on 04/26/2008, -2/+1I hope that information actually means something useful
