A Million Israeli Olive Trees Will Make Indian Desert Bloom

timesonline.co.uk — The desert of Rajasthan in the north of India is to be planted with a million olive trees grown in Israel to transform the landscape and the fortunes of its struggling farmers. Dates and grapes from Israel will be grown in in western India. Israeli scientists have been credited with "greening" the Negev desert, called an agricultural miracle.
