Yawn.
Business as usual for the Bush regime.
It's sad that this doesn't even surprise me anymore, I've come to EXPECT dishonesty. - gulpy, on 01/03/2008, -2/+34Why must we tolerate ten more months of this? Can't we just impeach the bastard already?
- ronpaul20008, on 01/03/2008, -5/+33The Bush Administration - where Lying, Rape, Mass Murder, Drug Dealing, Pedophilia, Gay Prostitutes & Torture are not only tolerated, but acceptable.
- Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -0/+17In hundreds of years, historians worldwide will quietly ponder this period of the USA's development as a nation and think to themselves "What a dumb bunch of gullible ***** mouthbreathing morons those Americans were".
- mranderson86, on 01/03/2008, -1/+18Watch the story become "possibly inaccurate" soon.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -8/+249-11 was a "false flag" opp and all of you know it!
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -9/+24The 9/11 Commission was a ***** joke from start to end! WTC#7 just "fell down" !!!! What an American JOKE!
- FudgeForever, on 01/03/2008, -5/+18I AGREE!!
Wake me when they are accused of truth telling!!
Now, that's news! - honestjoe, on 01/03/2008, -1/+13As I write this with tears in my eyes I think about how in the name of 9/11, our government has invaded, detained, tortured, and spied. It’s undermined the Constitution and shredded the Bill of Rights. And it shows no signs of stopping that means upwards of over a million dead Iraqis, 4000 dead American soldiers, an $9Trillion+ deficit, 70,000 sick first responders and New Yorkers, the Patriot Act I & II, the Military Commissions Act, the Signing Statements, Wiretapping, and so on, would not have happened if not for 9/11.
Former CIA Director George Tenet presented the briefing to commission member Richard Ben Veniste and executive director Philip Zelikow in secret testimony at CIA headquarters on Jan. 28, 2004, said three former senior agency officials. Timothy Roemer, former 9/11 Commissioner said, “None of this was shared with us in hours of private interviews, including interviews under oath, nor do we have any paper on this” [,,,] “I’m deeply disturbed by this.”
Zelikow's response when asked was “that no witness before the commission had drawn attention to a July 10 meeting at the White House, nor described the sort of encounter portrayed in Mr. Woodward’s book."
This meeting also involved Condoleezza Rice. She denied any knowledge of the meeting, even though a memo exists that says she was, in fact, briefed.
It is a fact there is evidence of foreknowledge. There is also evidence that Pentagon lied to the 911 Commission. The testimony of 9/11 Commissioners Thomas Kean, Jamie S. Gorelick, Timothy J. Roemer, John J. Farmer Jr., Max Cleland who admitted that they were lied to and or purposely deceived. There is evidence that Atta received money from Pakistani intelligence. There is evidence that the war games interfered with interception of the hijacked planes. There is evidence of motive in the PNAC documents. There is evidence of cover-up.
Peter Rundlet, Counsel for the 9/11 Commission said: “A mixture of shock, anger, and sadness overcame me when I read about revelations in Bob Woodward’s new book about a special surprise visit that George Tenet and his counterterrorism chief Cofer Black made to Condi Rice, also on July 10, 2001 ...
If true, it is shocking that the administration failed to heed such an overwhelming alert from the two officials in the best position to know. Many, many questions need to be asked and answered about this revelation --- questions that the 9/11 Commission would have asked, had the Commission been told about this significant meeting. Suspiciously, the Commissioners and the staff investigating the administration,s actions prior to 9/11 were never informed of the meeting.”
Jamie S. Gorelick, 9/11 Commissioner said: Regarding recent revelations of a July 10, 2001 meeting between Condoleezza Rice, George Tenet, and Cofer Black - “Jamie S. Gorelick, a member of the Sept. 11 commission, said she checked with commission staff members who told her investigators were never told about a July 10 meeting. “We didn’t know about the meeting itself,” she said. “I can assure you it would have been in our report if we had known to ask about it.” White House and State Department officials yesterday confirmed that the July 10 meeting took place...”
Timothy J. Roemer, PhD, 9/11 Commissioner said: Regarding recent revelations of a July 10, 2001 meeting between Condoleezza Rice, George Tenet, and Cofer Black - “In interviews Saturday and Sunday, commission members said they were never told about the meeting despite hours of public and private questioning with Rice, Tenet and Black, much of it focused specifically on how the White House had dealt with terrorist threats in the summer of 2001.
“None of this was shared with us in hours of private interviews, including interviews under oath; nor do we have any paper on this,” said Timothy Roemer, a Democratic member of the commission and a former congressman from Indiana. “I’m deeply disturbed by this. I’m furious.”
John J. Farmer, Jr., Senior Counsel, 9/11 Commission said: “I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described,” John Farmer, a former New Jersey attorney general who led the staff inquiry into events on Sept. 11, said in a recent interview. “The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. ... This is not spin. This is not true.”
Timothy J. Roemer, PhD, 9/11 Commissioner CNN Article 8/2/06 : “A member of the 9/11 commission said Wednesday that panel members so distrusted testimony from Pentagon officials that they referred their concerns to the Pentagon’s inspector general. ... “We were extremely frustrated with the false statements we were getting,” Roemer told CNN. “We were not sure of the intent, whether it was to deceive the commission or merely part of the fumbling bureaucracy.”
Thomas H. Kean, Chairman, 9/11 Commission said: “We, to this day, don’t know why NORAD [the North American Aerospace Command] told us what they told us,” said Thomas H. Kean, the former New Jersey Republican governor who led the commission. “It was just so far from the truth. ... It’s one of those loose ends that never got tied.”
Senator Max Cleland --- Former member of the 9/11 Commission, said: “One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up.” He went on to say: “It is a national scandal.”
“As each day goes by, we learn that this government knew a whole lot more about these terrorists before Sept. 11 than it has ever admitted.”
“As the Senate Intelligence Committee chairman during the aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks and the run-up to the Iraq war, Sen. Bob Graham tried to expose what he came to believe were national security coverups and manipulations by the Bush administration… The White House played a heavy role throughout not only our investigation but the investigation of the 9/11 commission.”
Something to consider though is if forty odd million dollars were spent investigating President Bill Clinton’s sexual infidelities, why did the American people and the world have to wait 441 days for a commission [to begin its work] that was originally budgeted for 3 million dollars and given barely a year [to complete the investigation]?”
Lee Hamilton, Vice Chairman, 9/11 Commission said:
“I think basically it’s because they were afraid we were going to hang somebody, that we would point the finger, right in the middle of a presidential campaign - ‘Mr. Bush, this was your fault’”
“The information provided by European intelligence services prior to 9/11 was so extensive that it is no longer possible for either the CIA or FBI to assert a defense of incompetence."
Warnings came from Afghanistan, Argentina, Britain, Cayman Islands, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, and Russia. Many of those warnings specified the type of attack, a general time frame, and the location as either New York City or the World Trade Center. In at least two cases, the warnings actually mentioned hijackers by name.
At the very least either some people within the US government knew the 9/11 attack would happen and did nothing, or some people within the US government failed to heed advice from a dozen foreign governments and properly defend the US from attack. Perhaps both. These people should be removed from office on the grounds of gross incompetence, or face the legal consequences of aiding and abetting terrorism. It seems clear that there are people who fear an investigation, and that that is why this as been buried for so long. - inactive, on 01/03/2008, -2/+13Wow... I am so impressed!
The 9/11 commission (which concluded that who ever paid for 9/11 attack has little or no relevance to 9/11 attack investigation) slams the CIA (who supplied us with bogus data on WMD) over destroyed tapes...
Is this article is a joke or people in D.C. think that we are all brain dead? - dukeeeey, on 01/03/2008, -2/+11does this make you complacent with their crimes ?
no one seem to notice or care when they kicked off operations in Somalia - gimmeslack12, on 01/03/2008, -1/+10I actually agree with most of the comments on this one. Nothing will happen, no one will get fired, impeached, or in any real trouble. This is just more banter about bad things that happened.
To say its a joke is an understatement. And people wonder why no one votes. Because it won't change anything, it's all hopelessly broken. - EllieElliott, on 01/03/2008, -0/+9"It's sad that this doesn't even surprise me anymore, I've come to EXPECT dishonesty."
But we can never ever ACCEPT this dishonesty. - GhostyBoy, on 01/03/2008, -6/+15For those interested or skeptical, here is one of the major reasons why 9/11 truth is growing as opposed to going away:
Controlled demolition so far is the strongest hypothesis for why 3 buildings fell that day. I know that some will reject whatever I say they are firmly committed to the Al-Qaeda hi-jackers conspiracy theory, but for your consideration:
a) The buildings fell at nearly free-fall speed. With tons of steel supporting the building it is unlikely that they would have offered virtually no slow down or resistance to collapse.
http://www.glenbrook.k12.il.us/gbssci/phys/Class/n ...
b) Never before in history has a steel framed building collapsed due to fire, yet on 9/11 it happened 3 times in one day.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va& ...
c) Building 7 (Seriously, come on!) was not hit by a plane, yet still imploded at free-fall speed, straight down later on that day.
http://www.betterbadnews.com/2006/04/11/popularity ...
d) Up to six weeks after the collapse, pools of molten metal were found in the rubble of all three buildings, suggesting the possibility of the use of the compound thermate or thermite, commonly used in controlled demolition.
http://www.mindfully.org/Reform/2006/911-Thermite- ...
e) The name of the company that did the clean-up after 9/11 was called Controlled Demolition Inc. They were one of the very few companies liscenced to perform a controlled demolition, and they were key players in getting rid of the rubble (evidence) at ground zero. http://911review.com/coverup/groundzero.html
Again, I don't assume anything. But the case for controlled demolition remains both strong and plausible. - Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -0/+9It's a joke AND the people in DC think you're all brain dead.
- Humpasaur, on 01/03/2008, -0/+8Don't lose time merely complaining! We are winning the fight! There will be justice in our lifetimes.
http://www.brainsturbator.com/site/comments/10_way ... - Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -0/+8"The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer."
-- Henry Kissinger, New York Times, Oct. 28, 1973 - danarama, on 01/03/2008, -6/+14The 911 commision is full of BS since the start, there was never a real investigation and now they're complaining about the CIA odstructing their 'investigation'? These tapes, if they exist, would mean little. What are they a couple of Al CIAda shills getting tortured into saying made up *****? This story is a distraction from the real incriminating evidence against the CIA and the cover ups around 911 including the commision itself.
- williamdyer, on 01/03/2008, -0/+8It made me laugh to read of the 9/11 commission getting all indignant about the CIA. Pot, kettle, black.
- TwinTurboMike, on 01/03/2008, -0/+8Sure, if our other branches of government worked correctly.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -6/+14Until proven otherwise....9-11 was an inside job via (Bush&Co.). Done to attack Iraq and suck over a Trillion bucks from America's deep pockets! Follow the cash and you will find the crimes and criminals!
- mattsw84, on 01/03/2008, -0/+7What stock does the 9/11 commission have in this?
- Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -2/+9Wrong. The people of Russia and Germany were just too ***** scared to rise up, revolt and remove the criminals from office, because the people in power would turn the police on them in a heartbeat, which is EXACTLY the situation you have in America today.
- monkeyrun, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6Did someone break a rib?
what's going to happen after the "slam"!?
Absolutely nothing.
I love how people verbally "slams" each other, and by the end of the day no one takes responsibility. - Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -1/+7You claim you use the scientific method and yet you've concluded that 1300 foot tall buildings made from steel and concrete can collapse into dust and molten metal within 13 seconds (averaging 100 feet per second) while ejecting steel beams with such force that they were found jutting out from nearby buildings, and all without the application of one single explosive device?
Have you ever heard of the principle of resistance? Everyone here in the world of the sane was able to wrap our heads around that simple concept just as we emerged from infancy, but it seems to bear no relevance to the physical world you inhabit.
The following is not meant as an insult, but as an observation: You are an easily led, gullible drone who has completely lost touch with reality, and a convenient moneymaking device for the corporate elite.
You had one shot at life, and you've completely blown it. Congratulations! - inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+6Bush-Bots come to mind! Total ***** fools even though they were warned over and over!
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -4/+10RP ring a bell?
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -7/+12Most people, even the lazy and purposely uninformed ones, fully understand that the official story of 9/11 does not match with observation and common sense. What they do not yet understand is what it is they must do with this knowledge.
The common citizen is growing tired of the fear mongering and is starting to discover their anger and their sovereign and inalienable powers, but they need focus and a leader. Then they will fulfill their duty and responsibility as good citizens. - Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -2/+7Why would they want to run the country when they're rich as *****? Why not just retire?
It's called Greed.
Stop pretending you can't put two and two together. - inactive, on 01/03/2008, -1/+6No proof of a jet hitting the Pentagon, no proof of a jet crashing in Pa. WTC#7 fell 20 min. after the BBC reported it as fallen with a vido of it still standing in the back ground. Until Sileverstein said "Pull It"!!!! That is! The videos of the other 2 jets hitting the other 2 trade centers is suspect. The line of site is full of video errors! Half a billion profit and a trillion in gold missing! Bush in control and an order from the VP to stand down along with WAR games in progress! Kinda stinks unless you like to lick your own ass!
- GMorgan, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5...and surrender the propaganda effect of saying 9/11. I'm amazed they haven't named entirely irrelevant things 9/11.
- bobinaccounting, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5planes achieve flight by creating lift from their wing shape.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5Gannon!
- anarcurt, on 01/03/2008, -0/+5A little late for the commission. How many years have past? How many unanswered questions remain? The Commission was a farce from day one. Read the damn thing. They know they screwed up. They know people are pissed. So blame it on the CIA, lets pretend our commission was credible.
- earthwormzim, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4Profits aren't so bad if they are made fairly in the free market. The profits that are made via corporatism and mercantilism are the ones to be frowned upon, for they use the guns of government to prod and cajole the market into using/buying their services/goods.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4Found still another one! No wonder that America is in the *****!
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+4Get real! No spook from the past will save anything!
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -1/+5I bet there are a few copies remain in this one agent suitcase.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -5/+9Notice how the Bush-Bots still digg down anything that smells of the truth? America is *****!
- Look4Truth, on 01/03/2008, -4/+8Lots of things were destroyed on 9/11. Gee, I wonder where all the planes went.
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -1/+5Yeah...
Secret drug rings.
Secret arms rings
Secret payment systems through over 500 shop fronts...
CIA secret companies paying front companies to pay other companies to deliver to other front companies = tax deduction on government funds...oh ***** were making money selling drugs and tax payers are compensating us for doing it.....*****....this whole thing is ***** UP!!!! - Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -2/+6Some of the "hijackers" reappeared alive and well according to BBC reports (just one of the many hundreds of holes in the official conpiracy theory), so it's obvious at this point that I'm wasting my time conversing with someone who's so lost in a world of government propaganda that they've completely lost touch with reality.
Google "psychosis" and work from there. - Sep11insidejob, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3NIST report was debunked by its own chief or the fires division as a scientific farce. Now what do you have? NOTHING>
- inactive, on 01/03/2008, -0/+3No! Impeach the fool!! But to the rest yes!
- cmost, on 01/03/2008, -1/+4...and anyone is surprised by this???? And please stop calling for Bush's impeachment. The time for that has passed. We should have never elected him in the first place. Oh wait, we didn't. We should have never re-elected him. This is our own fault, as a nation, for being too busy with our petty little lives to take back control of our own country. Perhaps we will do the right thing after Bush and his cronies leave office and try the entire lot of them for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
- ronpaul20008, on 01/03/2008, -7/+10Impeach? We need to execute them all.
- Marijuana, on 01/03/2008, -4/+7You're officially a sheep.
- Groovemaster, on 01/03/2008, -1/+4They didn't fail at all. The plan was always to destabilize the region and install permanent bases as a launching point for middle-eastern hegemony while siphoning taxpayer's money through the military-industrial complex and into the pockets of the corporate fatcats. Everything's going exactly as planned.
It's so funny talking to someone who's still trapped in the propaganda of five years ago. Poor guy. :) -
