one problem though - it's not for free to join this "wold wonder", you must pay for it..- slowmo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2155 names registered so far. Thats 1/41955, and it's only been 11 hours.
At this rate they should have the rest of the money in only 526 years!

- gusc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1But it's ok - that money isn't too much to bee written in history, and if you hurry you can be one of the first. By the way if the project will not collect 2 million registrations - all the money will be donated to Red Cross organization - not so bad, is it? :)
- guigo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1half of the money will go to charity ;) the rest will stay with project authors.
- wunar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What a scam. Go, donate to the red cross directly, people.
Though, I'd love to buy some land nearby and build a text with large, 20-meter granite letters "***** unity of humankind. Individualism rules" and my name on it. - briils, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0fantastic!
- designblast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Massive phone book made from concrete, what a great human achievement!
- janexx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I hope it will withstand nuclear holocaust. I want future mutant generations will see my name :). Already registered.
Project is backed by Latvian government, so it's not scam at all.- guigo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Latvian government this time is the "Latvian Institute" with it's director who has no idea how to promote Latvia worldwide - people who have no clue backing up a project with no future.
- janexx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Care to give some facts?
That's nice that they have no clue for backing up projects with no future - that means they have a clue for projects with future :)
- 1ble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0brilliant idea and superb management so far. go for it!
- JankyLV, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i hope everything will work out how they planned!
dont be so sceptic if someone wants to make something good! - 0nkulis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i am looking forward to advertise my blog :) people will try to find their names, but there will be only spam :)
- Nodaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15 Euros...hmm can I spare $10 to have my name etched on a wall?
- gedroximo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just fantastic idea. Really hope that it will be successful.
- patricialtd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It has hit the Latvian Internet like a herd of wild horses. Here some very creative person has outlined a vast project of building this lovely park with granite walls in the Latvian countryside. On the walls for only a mere 5 Euros you too may have your name engraved for prosperity. If all the hearts are in the right places maybe it will be built - you ponder on the possibilities. ...enough said - lets hope its the real thing Read my blog comments: rigarooster.livejournal.com
- ovnis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0an open source wall.
- wunar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And... so... all names need to be in latin letters only? No cyrillic letters, no special diacritic marks? People from China have already their wall, they're not welcome in the worldwall?
(also, somehow I have doubts that FileX Jeserkepov, (nr. 420) is a real name... oh well. Quality control at its best)
