- mistertrogdor, on 08/19/2008, -9/+32Impeachment just involves the president.
The whole freaking administration is krupt and who knows how many other agencies have been tainted.
The idea of Cheney being president won't really help. - JKap, on 08/20/2008, -0/+23Impeach Pelosi while you're at it.

- SolarUpNote, on 08/19/2008, -7/+25We should just send them to Afghanistan and tell them not to come back until they've found Bin Laden. It's win-win. If they find Bin Laden, justice is done. If they never come back, justice is done.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -4/+20...followed by a trial for war crimes and treason, to start.
- oruval, on 08/20/2008, -4/+19The American public was lied to. The news networks were part of the propaganda especially fox news!!
- mntbikeracer1, on 08/20/2008, -1/+13Can we impeach Pelosi too? Actually make that most of congress and the house. It's all a ***** storm of epic, elderly proportions.
- politicalfan28, on 08/20/2008, -3/+14show the poll to pelosi!
- nwoantibody, on 08/19/2008, -5/+15Dugg... from the Dominican Republic by a Cuban-Canadian.
Long live the free Republic! - inactive, on 08/20/2008, -1/+11It's getting to the point where even Bush thinks he should be impeached. The only one who is firmly against the idea is Nancy Pelosi. So impeach her too!
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -0/+10Wonder why this hasn't hit the front page? This story got buried.
- Catspaw, on 08/20/2008, -3/+11I'm surprised it is only 89%. If Bill Clinton can be held to account for a stain on a dress, George Bush MUST BE held accountable for his many crimes against humanity. Thank-you Dennis Kucinich for standing up for what is right. That must take a lot of courage. To see Kucinich's articles of impeachment related to George Bush in full, refer:

- mikelieman, on 08/20/2008, -2/+10Cheney will occupy the very next cell, leaving Nancy Pelosi in charge until next January.
That aside, *TOMORROW*, any United States Attorney with a shred of honor and integrity could empanel a Grand Jury to hear evidence for the felony indictment of Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Powell, et. al. for violations of 18 USC 371 and 18 USC 1001 *at a minimum*.
Of course, they fired all the United States Attorneys with honor and integrity ( A.K.A.: The Few Good Men ) and replaced them with -- those without honor and integrity.
Anyone against this Grand Jury is just a SOFT ON CRIME pansy -- or a co-conspirator... - Thinbev, on 08/20/2008, -1/+8Only 40% of the federal government's budget comes from our personal income tax. All the federal government has to do is cut 40% of their spending and they wouldn't need to collect a personal income tax. (This is a fact. Look it up online.)
Also, did you know that if we removed the personal income tax today, the federal government would still be receiving the same amount of revenue it did 10 years ago? Yeah, in 1998 the government and military were functioning perfectly well.
Here's a list of all the other taxes we pay on top of the Personal Income Tax:
Accounts Receivable Tax
Automobile Registration Tax
Building Permit Tax
Capital Gains Tax
CDD/CID Tax
CDL License Tax
Cigarette Tax
Corporate Income Tax – (Nearly Equal to the US Department of Defense Budget pre 9/11)
Court Fines (Indirect Taxes)
Dog License Tax
Death Tax
Estate Tax
Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA)
Fishing License Tax
Food License Tax
Fuel Permit Tax
Gasoline Tax (42 Cents Per Gallon) - (Nearly Equal to the US Department of transportation budget)
Hunting License Tax
Inventory Tax
Liquor Tax
Local Income Tax
Luxury Taxes
Marriage License Tax
Medicare Tax
Parking Meters
Property Tax – (Used to pay for local schools and other local usage)
Real Estate Tax
Septic Permit Tax
Service Charge Taxes
Social Security Tax
Road Usage Taxes (Truckers)
Sales Taxes
Recreational Vehicle Tax
Road Toll Booth Taxes
School Tax
State Income Tax
State Unemployment Tax (SUTA)
Telephone Federal Excise Tax
Telephone Federal, State and Local Surcharge Taxes
Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax
Telephone Recurring and Non-Recurring Charges Tax
Telephone Usage Charge Tax
Toll Bridge Taxes
Toll Tunnel Taxes
Traffic Fines
Trailer Registration Tax
Utility Taxes
Vehicle License Registration Tax
Vehicle Sales Tax
Watercraft Registration Tax
Well Permit Tax
Workers Compensation Tax
And, Import taxes (Tariffs)
So, there would be plenty of revenue to operate the government without the personal income tax. So, the real question is, "what will you do with all of that extra money you get to keep?" - imdeanlabouty, on 08/20/2008, -0/+7krupt
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -4/+11Hang them all!!!
- mikelieman, on 08/20/2008, -1/+7THEORETICALLY: Given the reduction of the Federal PAYROLL to those jobs explicitly authorized by the proper delegation of power - a fundamental libertarian belief -- the revenue generated by trade tariffs, &tc. should be wholly sufficient.
- wunksta, on 08/19/2008, -7/+13eh, statistics can be off. but thats a lot.
- Hockey13, on 08/20/2008, -0/+6You can only extrapolate from a sample if the sample can be shown to be representative of the population. An online poll on MSNBC.com cannot be proven to be a scientific poll, and in fact they often clearly state that it is not one. Online polls should be taken as interesting, but not necessarily indicative of public opinion.
- rnawky, on 08/20/2008, -3/+8Um yeah so it's not 89% of Americans, it's 89% of the 715,082 responses. Which is 636,422 people. Estimated population in July 2007 is 301,139,947. Therefore, 00.208% of Americans want Bush impeached. Now, the 301 Million population includes minors, however, I doubt the only people who did that poll were adults either.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -0/+589% of Americans believe Bush should be impeached. Also, 99% of those believing Bush should be impeached are not willing to write their Congressmen, believing that clicking a link on a liberal news web site to be enough. Thus, 100% of those who support impeachment, and also 100% of those who don't, will suffer under another unaccountable globalist regime if either John McCain or Barack Obama is elected.
- mbelleghem, on 08/20/2008, -5/+9took yez long enough....
love, the rest of the world - GovernmentSp00k, on 08/20/2008, -0/+4Hey, it's worked like a charm for 7 years now. Why rock the boat?
- StingingNettle, on 08/20/2008, -0/+4and anyone who voted for him twice should be deported!
- mikelieman, on 08/20/2008, -1/+5If we learned *anything* from Robocop, and Robocop 2, it's that you *cannot* let criminals get away without prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
These guys are alleged felons. That means a Grand Jury hears evidence and votes to indict or not. And then they're arrested, arraigned within 72 hours, given a bail hearing, and all the benefits of the American Legal System.
Anything else is just being soft on crime. - Hockey13, on 08/20/2008, -1/+5Your words "liberal" and "conservative" mean essentially nothing. What constitutes a liberal in your mind? What constitutes a conservative? Just because we have only two major political parties in our country does not mean the world is black and white.
- Sil369, on 08/20/2008, -1/+4me too pls
- Pssdoff, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3Another person who thinks that the income tax builds roads or funds schools... How sad.
Your income tax money goes to the Fed, a cartel of private banks which collect money from all tax paying Americans. This money does not go to provide you with goods or services, but rather goes to pay off interest on national debt.
Basically the government spends more money than they can afford, the Fed prints up whatever amount extra money is needed to cover the spending. Because the Fed creates this fiat money from nothing and adds it to the money supply, it inflates the currency, reducing the purchasing power of the dollar. The Fed then uses the income tax to collect money to pay for interest on the debt the government accrued by overspending. In 2006 alone, $406 billion was spent on interest payments to holders of US debt. If recent trends continue, these interest payments will soon surpass the GDP of the US. If current spending levels continue, by 2050 these payments will be 350% of the GDP of the US. - inactive, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3Impeach Bush & Water board Pelosi and every other weak member of congress that that treats the legislative branch as inferior. Thomas Jefferson must be doing summersaults in the pike position in his grave whenever Pelosi the Underhanded says off the table.
It doesn't matter if you hate John McCain or Barack Obama. This is a bipartisan issue. Don't let either one unitary executive power. - GovernmentSp00k, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3It doesn't matter what American citizens think, it's what AIPAC thinks that matters.
- salmonz, on 08/19/2008, -6/+9Now it has 51 diggs.
- QuantumBios, on 08/20/2008, -4/+7Actually, unless you're going to go for the Pres, VP, and most of the congress, it's kinda pointless at this point with it being 77 days until the election and all. We needed this about 5 years ago.
- Minarchian, on 08/20/2008, -1/+4But they'll just come back with a Bin Laden look-alike and everyone will be fooled and go back to watching sitcoms.
- azikrogar, on 08/20/2008, -1/+4I'd rather have him go through a trial for war crimes and him and his cronies can go off to prison for a long, long time.
- transition, on 08/20/2008, -6/+9Here's an even more shocking factoid: 95% of Americans are ***** idiots.
- brad3378, on 08/20/2008, -0/+3And the Huffingtonpost
- SethEllis, on 08/20/2008, -0/+2Because an MSNBC poll is a reliable indicator of what the rest of the country believes.

www://willrhodesportmanteau.com - slashbe, on 08/20/2008, -1/+2Lol. He would just sign a presidential statement saying "go f*** yourselves" And continue on his merry way
- algaeturd, on 08/20/2008, -1/+2I think you might be a joke. But I'm purely speculating. All evidence would seem to point in that direction.
- inactive, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Amazing that 89% percent of Americans believe in something.
- algaeturd, on 08/20/2008, -2/+3And once again, Americans find out the hard way that what 'The People' want doesn't mean *****. Face it: Your representatives don't care what you think in regard to any topic, let alone the president and his cronies. I think that the quicker people start to realize they have absolutely no power, we might see a swing in the way things run.
In the meantime, 89% of people want Bush impeached and 60% of those people want McCain to be the next president.
WTF is up with that. Americans bellyache about the current president and then they consider putting another one in office that is WORSE?
America seems to be a totally lost cause...ignorance rules in this country and nobody seems to heckle the idiots like they used to because the idiots outnumber the intelligent, logical people. Good luck, everyone. You're going to need it. This country is about 50% leaning towards a downward spiral that will never end and as long as the wrong people are put in charge (Americans will make SURE of that), things will never improve but things can STILL get a lot worse.
Keep that in mind.
Not that you care or anything. -
