foxnews.com — Five masked gunmen invaded a U.S. Virgin Islands hospital before dawn Wednesday and killed a patient who was recovering from gunshot wounds, a police spokeswoman said.

    Something about their crime problem is caused by easy access to firearms in other states? So, where are the contiguous areas to St. Croix ??

Perhaps the five invaders had a paid-accomplice in the local gendarmes, and there wasn't anyone who was effectively protecting this man from a pack of killers?

    What are the gun laws like in the Virgin Islands? I'm not quite sure myself, but it's likely that they don't have many guns, as it isn't a very large land mass. This just goes to show you that bad people, criminals, are going to get guns no matter what, and they are going to do bad things with them.

    If politicians seek gun control, vote them out. If courts do not support the constitution, they are unconstitutional and the people are enjoined to remedy the situation. Thomas Jefferson was right, to paraphrase - from time to time, the Tree of Liberty requires the blood of patriots and tyrants.
    Make your vote count in November, it is a duty of citizens of a Republic.
    Oh, karishore - if confiscation comes to America, I also believe in Heston's 'cold dead fingers...' And where I live, I believe the current county officers would not abrogate the Constitution (the bicoastal Feds don't like us much out here).

He spent a good 15 minutes bashing gun laws and the ATF. I just smiled and nodded my head as he venting. He was a cool guy and was apparently a hardcore Constitutionalist. That is nice to see in a public servant (and all too rare).
