This "little" 11 year old girl sounds like a holy terror, pushing other kids into traffic (attempted murder), wrestling with a cop and punching her in the nose. She's lucky all she got was tasered.

There was an article this week about a 17 year old being tasered for trying to shoplift hotpockets and the taser KILLED him. This is not a joke - our law enforcement is out of hand in this country. No other developed nation has this problem. We're descending into fascism and people need to wake up.

- knobtwiddler, on 04/12/2008, -0/+1if a cop can not restrain an 11 year old girl without using a weapon, she has no business being a cop. but in all fairness, it sounds like this girl was totally out of control and i'm not entirely judging the cop, because the girl might have sustained even worse injuries if she had been physically restrained. the problem is those tasers can cause heart attacks. i think we need to find better non lethal restraining devices.

Teasers are a poor excuse for real law enforcement. If they are not Man or Woman enough to handle the situation then they should not apply for the position, Especially when they have backup if they need it. This is a weapon of cowards not police officers.
