- roomforpanic, on 08/29/2008, -1/+28A billy goat ate my hat. That's ok, though, I didn't really like de cap it ate.
- Duffalpha, on 08/29/2008, -6/+33That's one way for a gang to get a head of the competition.
- kidwithsword, on 08/29/2008, -2/+28At the end of the article. Does that say we gave Mexico $465 million? As if we aren't in enough debt as a country already...
- inactive, on 08/29/2008, -0/+26Such comments are no way to get ahead in life.
- EffYoo, on 08/29/2008, -2/+27How much money do these cartels get from the marijuana trade each year? Marijuana is the bread and butter for mexican drug gangs and even though it may not be as profitable as harder drugs it has the most consistent supply, most steady demand and has very little price fluctuation. Marijuana is a gateway to harder drugs for drug dealers and drug gangs.
If marijuana were legalized in the us, licenses were sold for domestic growing and taxes collected on the sale of the finished product it would take an enormous bit out of the revenue received by these violent international cartels. That is just another benefit on top of saving the hundreds of millions spent on the 'war' on marijuana and to imprison its victims and receiving hundreds of millions in excise taxes and licenses for growers & sellers. - HawkeyeMatt, on 08/29/2008, -3/+25I suppose I should be upset, even feel violated, but I'm not. No, in fact, I think this is a friendly message, like "Hey, wanna play?" and yes I want to play. I really really do.
- Anarleaf, on 08/29/2008, -3/+21It's interesting to note that if this were American corpses, people wouldn't be joking.

- Galaxylander, on 08/29/2008, -4/+18@drez24 Buried, for no *****.
- CobaltBlue, on 08/29/2008, -2/+16I wish it were really a typical American response to say it's stupid to give $465 million to Mexico to fight a worthless drug war.
- kuatto, on 08/29/2008, -3/+16It's a shame they weren't more headstrong.

- shadowspawn, on 08/29/2008, -0/+9"The United States has approved $465 million to help Mexico and Central America battle drug cartels"
This has helped stop about 5% of the drugs making their way into america.
Of course the drug suppliers are not dumb. An instant 5% increase in drug prices occurred at the same time. - wukillabee, on 08/29/2008, -0/+8http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_zetas

- grumpychris, on 08/29/2008, -2/+8The Z tattoo is the best evidence for the truth here. Clearly, these were military research experiments, tattooed with the letter Z by the Army to designate them as part of the Zombie project. They escaped from the underground research facility in Mexico and had to be dealt with swiftly by removing their heads (often faster and less messy than destroying the brain, see "Shaun of the Dead" for more). Then, a cover story was created about drug gangs.

- sp1r1t, on 08/29/2008, -2/+7Why would you even want to watch that? Shows how sick and twisted some people can be. I can't believe that anyone would get a hard-on watching that kind of disgusting *****.
- cgibbo, on 08/29/2008, -0/+5They must have been heading in the wrong direction.
- BitKid, on 08/29/2008, -1/+6I read a while back in the news that this is a pretty common occurrence down in Mexico.
- inactive, on 08/29/2008, -0/+5They say that the government is heading up and operation to smash these gangs. The gangs are probably a few steps ahead of them. I wonder who the head of the gang is.
- thcobbs, on 08/29/2008, -0/+5Guess they didn't keep their head in the game.

- Nishnabotna, on 08/29/2008, -1/+5Buried for not spelling it right.
- Anomaly100, on 08/29/2008, -1/+5The story said the last time this happened, someone came into a nightclub and rolled several heads onto the floor. Can you imagine going out for a drink and seeing that? Is this Mexican bowling or what? Really, a person would have to be insane to get into that business in Mexico. If anyone is that naive, they wouldn't be in that business anyway.
- Nishnabotna, on 08/29/2008, -0/+4Actually, you don't know what the heads are doing.
- mrb4b00, on 08/29/2008, -0/+4I am sure the Tobacco industry would agree.
