    Are you kidding me. Video games are the books of our generation. It's how we record and store our ideas and creativity. They present new ideas, moral choices and entertainment value. Video games are a big deal. Millions of people have jobs because of video games!

Like it or not, school is in very much a social experience... and by pushing a kid through school way younger than his peers, you deny him that social experience basically in exchange for parental bragging rights... because what's he really going to do at age 11 with a junior college degree? Go to a 4-year college where he'll still be way too young to socialize?

He also went on to be one of the greatest political theorists and philosophers but it came with a price. I don't envy the kid but I hope he does great things.

    You can get all your general education credits out of the way for a quarter of the price then go to a 4 year college and only have to take the classes that apply to your major.

Don't get me wrong, I'm impressed that this kid graduated from college, but a community college degree doesn't get you very far. Unless of course he now moves on to grad school

    Or perhaps that was sarcasm?

    Either way... reading a good novel is so much more engaging on a deeper level than a video game could possibly be.
