- digitaloxygen, on 10/12/2007, -19/+53Wow that was stupid.
- sepultura, on 10/12/2007, -10/+65No, actually, that was one of the greatest things ever.
- TheFoo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38Not shown: the man asphyxiating and dying.
- PhelixTheKhat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2It was stupid, but he looked like a gobstopper around the neck, haha :)
- theRIAA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24*walks through airport security*
- knightblade2oo4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19makes you wonder about the people who actually wear the shirts shown in the last 20 seconds.
is that bullet-proof? - anareric, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Would have been better if he tried to also set the record for wearing the most pairs of briefs. Or if someone rolled him down a hill.
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1how would you grope him?
- seanherman, on 10/12/2007, -4/+57That was both magical and inspirational
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -14/+4Didnt it look like all of his fat was being pushed up into his face?
- vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12Amusing.
Though, I searched on Guinness World Record's site, and didn't see this. Maybe not updated yet. (I did find that the largest shirt ever produced used enough fabric to make 2,000 regular shirts and would fit a person 360ft tall)
I guess this suppossed "record" is really quite silly cos it's got nothing to do with skill or the way he was born (like being the tallest person for example). All it takes is a much skinner person to wear a few more t-shirts to beat the record.- merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13That's most of what's in the Guinness book, these days, since they took all the 'dangerous' crap out.
Biggest ball of twine, and ***** like that. - person, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1then if it sounds so easy, I'd like to see you try. After about 20 shirts, you'll start to understand what an accomplishment 155 is.
- merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13That's most of what's in the Guinness book, these days, since they took all the 'dangerous' crap out.
- funknjunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+29and now to take em off... that'll be a pain in the ass
- mikesty, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Wow, that would break the world record for "biggest pain in the ass".
- neoncricket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15"Hey guys, I can't move; can you help me get these shirts off now? Hello, guys? Hey, where is everyone going?!"
- Misin4mati0n, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8They had to cut him out of the shirts
- hriwo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+39Why do they make shirts that big? WHY?
- garyh84, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Well I don't know about you, but I don't want to look at some fat tub of lard who is too big to fit in a smaller shirt than that.
- Software2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25For world records of course.
- merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+33"Why do they make shirts that big? WHY?"
I see people that big in walmart all the time. - zeeeej, on 10/12/2007, -2/+50Do you really want a person who needs a 10XL shirt to be walking around without clothes?
- pype, on 10/12/2007, -4/+37You've obviously never been to the US
- TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7it looked like they were just throwing table cloths on him at the end
- Klisk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I wear 10XL t-shirts to bed. They're comfy to sleep in. Try it! I'd be upset if they didn't make 'em.
I wear L t-shirts for when I'm going out, though. :P - Shorties, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3They had to fly in 10XL Shirts from some Big Dog wear-house somewhere outside of Cali. Bigdog is a Santa Barbara company (We even have a Big Dog parade here) so they sponsored most of the T-shirts, Matt is a morning talk show host and he had as many people donate shirts as possible then big dog got the rest in.
- WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -25/+6cure cancer. end world hunger. THEN go for how many t-shirts you can wear at once.
- Metman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20I see no harm in a little 'fun' done in the meantime (assuming is was fun). Coincidentaly, commenting on Digg.com solves none of those issues (yet). I bet your world is a dark one.
- skankyBacon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Quit slacking, WeeklyGeek. Cure cancer, end world hunger, THEN post on Digg.
- Shorties, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Actually the entire thing was done to raise money for charity, Matt is just that kind of guy, he really does have the greatest morning talk show ever.
- person, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't think a 10XL person would be going hungry anytime soon....
- evensong, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1110XL? Sorry, if you're that big, a T-Shirt would be the least of your worries.
Also notice none of the larger shirts have designs on them. No design love for the big-uns.- Software2, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Um... most of them have the big dig logo on them, especially the last one.
- mlkmnz, on 10/12/2007, -9/+1There is no design. If you're that fat a bastard you should just be thankful you can buy clothes that big, period.
- Software2, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5*dog, not dig.
- maklershed, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Yeah, but does he like pants?
/simpsons- u8myfoood, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3ur thinking about buying a moomoo too?
- dreaz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Could I be wearing any more clothes?
- underdog138, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Oh my God! That is so not the opposite of taking somebody's underwear!
- odaen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I better not do some lunges!
- dara, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Or: how to make your own sumo suit
- person, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Except sumos don't wear much.
- tuxidomasx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7lmao, i'd go push him over
- Academicballa, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Notice how towards the end that all the shirts were either no name or big dog? Sucks to be a big guy.
- digitaldater, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Why?
- UrlorJkron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Because.
- PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Compared to him, I'm practically naked!
I'd better go put on a dozen shirts. - imafish2002, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10must not buy 156 t-shirts..
- thunderer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1How did he even accumulate that many shirts?
- Misin4mati0n, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They were all donated by local businesses and individuals.
- Klisk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I have over 1000 t-shirts accumulated from over the years. It just happens.
- Misin4mati0n, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Matt has a local morning radio talk show; he attempted this record to help raise money for a local charity. I believe it had something to do with getting a computer in the house of every 4th grader in the city or county. Just though you all should know.
- newfoundnoise82, on 10/12/2007, -12/+1is it possible to give something a negative digg for being so incredibly dumb?
- natey1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Its called report as "OK, This is Lame"
- Disease, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I'm shootin' for 200
- Whoboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2crazy ha they did it in my town
- vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I'd like to see the guy push over and rolled down a hill.
- mojo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1indeed
- dgh1973, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I would have loved to have hosed that guy down and turn that 100 extra pounds into like 300 or 400 extra pounds and watch him fall over helplessly.
- lcohiomatty86, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that would be pretty darn funny to see..
- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30That guy would be unbeatable at strip poker.
- interiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Or at strangling contests. He has no neck!
- AndrewJ, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He should have gone an bought a slurpee before changing.
- gretty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0YA baby. Keith tried to take this down, BTW, because there were not enough songs during the video. LOL
- Rizmaster, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1That guy has terrible taste it T-shirts. What's this "Big Dog" *****?
- chmod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You've never heard of big dog?
- MyDigitalSin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Big Dog is also one of the few companies that makes tshirts that size.
It's too bad too.. really rather sad that a market exists for that size shirt.
- gretty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Big Dog was a major sponsor. This was a benefit for Computers For Families, which provides computers to low income kids. It raised a lot of money for a great cause, so don't hate.
- Rizmaster, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1It's still a faggy t-shirt.
- MrHen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Poor guy, you can actually watch his smile wilt.
It would have been interesting to see the last shirt being put on or him getting out. I am assuming they had to cut the shirts off...
I wonder if they decided to go for the most shirts possible or to just beat the old record. Some of the earlier shirts looked a little thick.
- MrHen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Poor guy, you can actually watch his smile wilt.
- NitrousFlare, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I don't understand how this is a hard feat to do...
- chmod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm sorry, where does it say that it is hard?
- blankartist, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0Marked as inaccurate. I think those last "T-shirts" were moo-moos. :P
- tinkafoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"I can't put my arms down!"
"..put your arms down when you get to school." - redneckblues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can you say bullet-proof vest?
- sirkevinthegeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like to scrub the seek bar across to see how his facial expression gets more and more uncomfortable.
- rbvmusic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1he should try to put on that many pants too, just to even it out.
- bezos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0At least my record was for a good cause, good entertainment though....
www.pennypyramidproject.com coming shortly a video on how this 2000lb object was built on www.youtube.com - thetshirtblog, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1I don't know if this has been commented on already--this record has already been broken by this chap right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7NsNpSkxbc&eurl=ht ...
