- robroe, on 10/12/2007, -8/+143I hope people don't think this post is in bad taste, it is not intended to be. I've always loved this sketch and although its a bit of a mickey take I think its a good reminder of how great Steve Irwin was.
- aramova, on 10/12/2007, -4/+61I doubt people will find it in bad taste, after all, crock tastes like chicken!
- scoot87, on 10/12/2007, -2/+67That was funny. I would call this clip a celebration of his legacy and how much so many people (including the people of South Park) appreciated him as a pop-culture figure.
- scoot87, on 10/12/2007, -1/+43A Tribute Episode for Steve Irwin is on tonight (9/4) at 6pm (pt/et) on Animal Planet
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -5/+40All this stuff making me remember about Steve Irwin is making me sad. *Cry*
- TomP, on 10/12/2007, -34/+5Southpark = Digg
- 4ndr3wk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+27"This guy rules"
RIP steve - knightblade2oo4, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19"Okay now im gonna jam my thumb up it's butthole... oh crikey that really pissed him off!"
god i love that clip - klaymen, on 10/12/2007, -7/+13or it could just be that it is still funy regardless of whether or not he died. i mean, i don't understand why people get all sentimental over someone when they die that they normally wouldn't care about. don't get me wrong, he was a great guy, and vastly misunderstood by most people as being some crazy guy who liked to ***** with animals. however, just cause he dies doesn't mean you have to act like you care way more than you really do. a couple days ago, you wouldn't give two ***** about steve irwin.
i know i will probably be dugg down by people who want to seem like they care, but i feel i must say what i believe. - Ignignokt01, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I'm not sad for his death because I have convinced myself that he is important to me, I'm sad because of what he represented: a deep love for nature and passionate support for environmentalism. If it weren't for him, most of us probably wouldn't know jack about crocodiles. Nobody can replace him as such a huge influential person in the environmentalist movement. He will be dearly missed, even though none of us actually knew him personally.
- DigDugDigger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5He had a great on-air personality that really drew you into the show, I'm worried the next generation won't have anyone as talented as him to fill the role. I mean, who do we have now to teach us about animals... Wild Boyz?
- leoken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hilarious
- Civil44, on 10/12/2007, -4/+23Youll probobly get some flak for it however its still a funny clip : )
- xain, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Great clip
- natecohen, on 10/12/2007, -11/+26"I'm going to sneak up on him, and jam my thumb in his butthole"
Classic- bntphoretwunny, on 10/12/2007, -8/+31"oh, he's pissed now!"
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -8/+23"Crickey, that did make him angry!"
- ilyag, on 10/12/2007, -1/+111"[Quote from the video clip all of you have just seen!]"
- mywhitenoise, on 10/12/2007, -61/+7I love South Park, probably my favorite show, but I think it's a little too soon to show these parodies (even though this is from season 2).
- Nougat, on 10/12/2007, -40/+19Too soon? Loved that guy, but really, he was testing fate every single day. Fate gets pissed when you jam your finger up its butthole every single day. If you didn't see his demise coming, you think cartoons are real.
- mywhitenoise, on 10/12/2007, -26/+11nougat, youre an idiot.
- Highborn, on 10/12/2007, -7/+28Nothing like learning about dangerous animals by pissing them off!
- DPowers08, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Great clip from South Park. I just noticed there are relevant Steve Irwin stories in four categoories including Technology, World & Business, Videos, and Entertainment.
- SamKellett, on 10/12/2007, -41/+5I agree with mywhitenoise, the timing of this clip was perhaps a bit badly chosen.
- xophonic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10He will be missed, A very uniquely charismatic and funny guy. One of the few celebrities I've never heard anyone speak poorly about. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and kids.
- ArthurSucks, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7As soon as I first read the article about his death this was the first thing that came into my head. I was hoping someone would post this.
- icepick314, on 10/12/2007, -48/+3am i the only one who never liked the guy?
constant "Crikey! Look at the fang on this little bugger" while putting his hands near the poison fangs or the croc's mouth....
i just find him really annoying....felt sorry for the animals who got poked and prodded by him for hours on end....
i'm probably the only one who also find Jackass idiotic as well...- jfarquhar, on 10/12/2007, -4/+28You felt sorry for the animals? How about the hundreds of animals he saved and the countless hours he spent working on animal conservation projects? Steve Irwin wasn't just an icon, he was a legend!
- Roger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Wonder what he thought of this.
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -31/+6"Crikey!"
- insinuate, on 10/12/2007, -13/+7Seriously, stop reposting over and over and over and over and over again "Crikey!" We know he said it. Haha, jokes over.
- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3I watched his show every day for a while, Then he got all that bad buzz about him, and he faded off. I miss that guy =/
- fasel, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2When I heared about his death I was instantly reminded of this clip.
Well, I guess thats the power of TV. Very funny though :) - psbpv3o, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12wow. I'm actually kind of sad that Steve Irwin died. At first I didn't think care, but now after I think about it, he was a really cool guy. Even if he was crazy to try to piss off large/dangerous animals, he did a lot of good in the world by starting preserves, promoting the environment, educating others about animals and helping endangered species. Its sad to see him go. :(
- Jameshkong, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11I loved Crocdile Hunter. May he rest in peace.
- barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -58/+3He should have tested the waters with his baby first then he would have been fine!
- sphinx13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Thanks for that.
He died and left 2 young children, and you had to go and make that jackass comment. - kyote, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12you're a dick. i hope a truck runs your ass over.
- sphinx13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Thanks for that.
- urbanpitch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5RIP steve
lol, funny episode still, poor guy - psbpv3o, on 10/12/2007, -12/+7"He should have tested the waters with his baby first then he would have been fine!"
You're a douche.- barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -22/+13For Christ's sake, everyone knows that babies make great sting ray testers
- psbpv3o, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1"I didn't think care, "
I didn't think I cared. - jimmiejaz, on 10/12/2007, -18/+6 @psbpv3o
You're a douche, douche, I nominate you for biggest douche in the universe.

Get a clue douche.- szembek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1+1 That was a moron thing to do.
- 500freestyle, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2Croikey!
I love it. RIP. - thestorey, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3"This is a rheally stoopid idea, My wife is going to put on this weight belt made of flank stakes and swim with live sharks. see whats happens after the commercials"
- ravens326, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2When I heard Steve Irwin die the first thing I thought about was the South Park sketch. He though was seriously awesome. He allowed us to follow him around the world and learn about our fellow species that we co-exist with. Thanks for the good times Croc Hunter.
http://www.dpodgor.net - barbobot, on 10/12/2007, -16/+2he should have shot the baby out of his ass straight into the path of the manta ray
- POKETNRJSH, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I don't think this is in bad taste. Parker and Stone do these parodies in good taste, no one should be insulted. It's called comedy, and rarely is it done in a hateful way.
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4very untimely death!
- Scaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3funny clip, RIP steve
- eihwaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12+digg in the memory of Steve
RIP man, we all loved you. - GTPilot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7and here's a clip of his compasion that happened to be linked at the end of the southpark clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlxJ-UBaTaU&NR .. oddly enough, mentioning the best way to die.
- stolenpass, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1RIP Steve
- ngeowwh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Joe Cartoon's parody of Steve Irwin as the Goanna Humper http://www.joecartoon.com/pages/goanna_anim
- dugon666, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1gunna sound kinda bad, but i expected either snake, or plane crash to kill him
R.I.P- Soniti, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I have to say it:
Or Snakes ON a plane to kill him!
~Soniti
- Soniti, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I have to say it:
- Soniti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3:( I still can't believe he's gone. We'll miss you Steve- Your crazy snake handling tactics especially. That guy could handle a black mamba like noone else.
Kind of makes you think twice about all those times where he was like "If I take a hit out here, I'm done for- There's no hospitals for two hundred miles.." I always thought he was just saying that for dramatic effect- but it was actually true...
~Soniti - haceldama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2At least he went out doing what he loved, in his prime, and totally in his element. I'm sorry when anyone dies, but how he went was probably preferable (to him at least) of dying of cancer or some other horrible disease. He loved his work, and I'm sure he'd bear no ill will towards anyone for their memories of him, no matter how silly they seem to us. I'm just sorry his kids won't get to grow up with him around.
- CopyNinja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Truth is Steve probably saw this clip while he was alive, and id bet he loved it, he was just that cool of a guy.
- lennon2600, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ditto on all the RIPs. May you wrestle many more crocs in heaven, Mr. Irwin.
- aximbigfan, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2i hate to say it, but it was going to happen sooner or later. (his death, not the clip)i mean common he makes a living out of pissing dangerus animals off. he acts like they are just people in animal costums and that they arent dangerus at all. it was bound to happn sooner or later.
rip.- lennon2600, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He showed the us what it was like to interact with some of the world's most dangerous creatures. For that, he was awesome, and I don't believe he ever hurt another creature, and because of that he is a role model. All I gotta say is: at least he went doing something he loved. I only hope we can be so fortunate.
- aximbigfan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yup, when he grabed that kangaroo by the tail it sure didnt hurt...
- solvable, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1'Imitation Is The Highest Form Of Flattery'
I rarely ever give a damn when a celebrity dies. But this one to much of my surprise actually seemed to hit me pretty hard, He always seemed to be a happy upbeat guy who had a obsession over the way nature works and it's creatures.
He did a great job at mixing education and entertainment. He will definitely be missed. - Duffeh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2RIP
- AbsoluteMSTR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2RIP
- Elfman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Rest in Peace, Steve. Glad we could know you for the short time we did.
- CoreyP319, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2He did die doing what he loved, it is still unfortunate that he died.
RIP big guy- CoreyP319, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh and has anyone seen a place where we can donate some money to his charity for his family or something of that sort?
- number8888, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's South Park, so it's supposed to be a little offensive. I remember seeing that long ago. Funny stuff indeed.
RIP to the real Croc Hunter. - jstem1994, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This isn't in bad taste, it was made long before his death. They parody everybody....
- kidlinux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Has anyone else seen the Crocodile Hunter flash animation where he's in a playground doing a documentary on the types of "kids" found there?
It's pretty old, really funny, and damn hard to find.. post a link if you've got one. - wufeng, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well
