U.S. to Study Bizarre Medical Condition

Comment in News (-2 diggs, 1 reply) - on 01/18/2008
I read a bit more about this a while back - one person believed there was a link to the contrails jets leave up in the air - to the point where the gov. or some other power was spreading the disease. Yep it's creepy stuff (and no I don't believe) http:// … (see comment)

MacBook Air: Thinning my expectations

Comment in News (2 diggs, 2 replies) - on 01/16/2008
Yep the MacBook Air will do very well for the category of design conscious folks with a huge disposable income - executives, hot shot graphic designers, interior decorators - the same people that lined up in droves to buy the G4 Cube. (see comment)

How the Apple Store trains their Workers by an Undercover Reporter

Comment in News (9 diggs, 1 reply) - on 10/22/2007
Sometimes I go to a store just to browse products and learn about them - I'm not intending to buy anything. That's when I personally find it really annoying when some cheesy salesman tries a "hard sell". I'm not going to buy anything, and you can't convin … (see comment)

6 years later - the evolution of the iPod (Pictures)

Comment in Images (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 10/20/2007
What I think is worth remembering is each iteration of the iPod was "cool" and "modern" when it first came out - yet Apple still found ways to refine and improve on a design that was already nearly perfect. Pretty amazing. (see comment)

Indiana Jones 4 Wraps Production, Shoots at Fresno Airprort

This could be cool. My only two worries: they don't talk about how old Harrison Ford is (I hope they acknowledge his age and don't have him jumping off of horses onto speeding cars etc) and: How much did George Lucas mess with the script???? (see comment)

Why we need to stop the negative "dot com bubble" thinking

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 10/18/2007
Overly optimistic thinking got us into Iraq and also convinced a lot of folks that they could handle an adjustible rate mortgage, no problem. "Negative thinking" might also just be a basic reality check. (see comment)

Feeling like Digg jumped the shark, couldn't "innovate" past the digging stories idea and therefore is moving towards social networking - the most obvious (and least innovative) route. (see comment)

Comment in News (1 digg, 1 reply) - on 03/17/2007
Raise the minimum wage by a few cents? Oh..... no you can't do that... that's bad for business. Then CEOs and executives turn around and ladle tens of millions in raises and bonuses and that's okay? No amount of brainwashing Republican Logic can justify … (see comment)

I'm glad a few people agree. Honestly I welcome all varying opinions. I didn't expect everyone to agree with my list. It was just a fun exercise and to give my Netflix cue a workout. Actually before I went into this, I hadn't seen some of the early Sea … (see comment)

The Best And Worst James Bond Films

The short reason as to why I put Living Daylights higher is because it came after Octopuss and A View To A Kill and frankly by how much a corpse Roger Moore looked in the latter, the Bond franchise seriously needed a refresher. Dalton came in and cleaned … (see comment)

Never Say Never Again was made by a different production team - after a long legal batle with Roger McClory, a writer of the Thunderball screenplay. Hence Never Say Never was essentially a remake of Thunderball because that's the only story he had rights … (see comment)

My review on Her Majestys is here. I liked lots about it except for George Lazenby. The plot with Bond marrying and the ending was awesome. I just wish Sean Connery was in it instead - then it could have been one of the best Bond films. (see comment)
