This is about blogging, and getting more voices represented and heard. The problem is that amongst bloggers that are any good, there's a temptation to sell stuff. Doing that lowers your political credibility. (Notice what is left unstated: whether catering to the lowest common denominator also lowers credibility, even if it gets you control, say, of the Democratic party).
