MadTV had more moments then SNL did, that's for sure. And the horrible moments weren't nearly as long and unbearable as those on SNL. (see comment)

If you compare MadTV to SNL. MadTV had better writing most of the time, nevermind the fact that the average skit on MadTV was much shorter, so if it sucked you didn't bare 5 minutes of it, like you do on SNL. (see comment)
