Zend Framework: Looking Good

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 03/07/2006
But will this keep people away from frameworks like Rails and Django? People are moving away from PHP because it's PHP (in my view), not because there wasn't a good web framework. (see comment)

Boycott the RIAA! Skip these Record Labels.

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 03/05/2006
Nothing is dead. Interscope actually owned the label, and Trent had a manager running it that took him for a ride. Reznor isn't the reason for Nothing being on that list. (see comment)

Boycott the RIAA! Skip these Record Labels.

Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 03/05/2006
I noticed that a couple indie labels who were once on the list of RIAA members have been removed. Some of the labels on that list, however, are long dead, which is a bit puzzling. No one that I hold in too high regard, though. (see comment)

Didn't I Already Pay For This Movie?

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 12/31/2005
I really hate advertisements at the movies, however, boycotting the companies that advertise isn't the answer, they're only taking advantage of a service that the theaters offer. Boycotting the theaters makes a lot more sense. Boycotting the Army is … (see comment)

I have yet to use Blender, but I have a few friends that use it exclusively for their work and they LOVE it. I've seen really amazing work come out of that application. (see comment)

Bush Authorized NSA Domestic Spying

Comment in News (-1 diggs, 0 replies) - on 12/16/2005
msipes: Eric Rudolph wasn't a Christian. It's a common mistake people make, even I did at one time. But he said it himself, he wasn't. (see comment)

Bush Authorized NSA Domestic Spying

Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 12/16/2005
If true, I'm glad to hear that the NSA has been doing this. The NSA, for the record, isn't spying on just any American. The terrorists that we've captured in the past few years all have computers, mobile phones, and PDAs. From those things recovered, w … (see comment)

MySpace Creates Own Record Label

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 11/03/2005
Heh. Actually ProAm500, that's not my opinion of MySpace at all. Actually, I'm sort of neutral when it comes the site. I know some people who absolutely despise it and some who are addicted to it (mostly girls). It is pretty easy, however, to predict t … (see comment)

Kanye West goes off on George Bush live!!! (full version)

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 09/03/2005
I like Kanye, but that was ridiculous. When Kanye said "George Bush doesn't care about black people," he kind of sounded like Wesley Willis. Mike Meyers' reaction throughout that tirade was great, though. (see comment)

Apple slams the breaks on Mac mini Test Drive promo

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 09/01/2005
I didn't see an Apple press release for the promotion, and I'm sure that they would make a formal announcement for something like this. I'm thinking that the promotion was posted to the Apple Store site prematurely, which means we'll see a new Apple job p … (see comment)
