try using jaikoz, it integrates MusicIP and musicbrainz metadata, it's also fantastic for bulk-tagging, and filling in metadata in selective bundles. i.e. highlight the album and remote-correct, then if it fails to sync up, undo and try manually tagging o … (see comment)

the problem with all tagging is ... bulk tagging usually sucks balls if you don't know what it's supposed to be. if you do, making it easy is a great thing. T&R, the godfather, itunes tagging, etc. makes sense, you can see what those 20 songs are suppos … (see comment)

mostly because they all use ffmpeg or mencoder to convert, as does VLC. and since ffmpeg doesn't handle subtitles almost at all, neither do these frontends. (see comment)
