Nope, actually asteroid strikes are quite common. The Tunguska event in Siberia in 1908 is about 100-200 year interval event, and that yielded at about 15 or so megatons from 10 meter wide rock. The larger the rock, the longer the return interval. Even if … (see comment)

I would say costco reduces waste if anything. Buying in bulk reduces packaging waste for the most part. Food stuffs are always compostables and are an easy fix. That plastic wrap and other non-recyclables are what do us in and that should be the focus of … (see comment)
