greenfyre didn't you just point out the conflict of interest even more? He is associated with this company and google, and this company is associated with google also. Seems quite suspicious to me. (see comment)

IPCC Predictions Massively Offbase

HA they accept it? Even after they peer review it and find it credible, they can put a warning on it like that? http://www.jennifermarohasy.com/blog/archives/0032 ... (see comment)

IPCC Predictions Massively Offbase

In order to know how ecosystems respond to global warming, wouldn't you need to be able to do this kind of math? Your number 2 above says that the math is complex and that this aspect of climate science is not my expertise. I don't see how you can do on … (see comment)

Al Gore has invented a disease!

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 07/17/2008
"The "smallest" piece of Antartica is huge, enough to raise sea level 7m" didn't we already show that water is less dense than water. As a cube of ice in a glass of water will not raise the level in the glass when it melts? "Warmer air holds more moi … (see comment)

Al Gore has invented a disease!

Go read the whole thing. I linked to it. "As is clear in that thread greenfyre understands that ice is a solid and water is a liquid" obviously has nothing to do with ice being less dense than water, try cashman57's experiment (above). The ice will no … (see comment)

great job keyman. swrostmore, they have to lease the section(66 acres) for ten years, before they can even study it and see if there is oil there. So, of course they have leases that are not usable. (see comment)

ARCTIC SEA ICE!

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 07/16/2008
Thank you ApokalypseNow that is exactly what I have been saying. "Except the deep ocean water is not at -10°C , it is at 4°C - we are supposed to be talking about reality here." Are we going in circles? The ice at the poles can get well below -10°C and … (see comment)

ARCTIC SEA ICE!

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 07/16/2008
are you serious? That is the sum up? Water warming from -10°C to +4°C does not expand. hydrothermals have nothing to do with the conversation. Climate change will do a lot of things but AGW is a hoax! (see comment)

ARCTIC SEA ICE!

Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 07/16/2008
i know you said cools. I put heated. You might have reread it a couple times to understand. "When 95% of Earths water is at or below 4°C it will contract first when it heats" if 4°C is _Maximum_ density then heating will cause it to expand you quote … (see comment)

ARCTIC SEA ICE!

Comment in News (2 diggs, 0 replies) - on 07/16/2008
oops the rest of that got cut off. you quoted me with that and then said, "if 4°C is _Maximum_ density then heating will cause it to expand " so how does ice that is at say -10°C which is well within "at or below 4°C" expand when it is heated? It has … (see comment)
