If it ain't a pit bull, it is definitely a hockey mom

For those of you that haven't yet read this blog post yet, you should. It will make a difference, especially in what comes out of me next. It'll tear your heart out, believe me. But you need to read this first. Until enough of you have read this one, then I'll continue this story.

I hope you can handle that I've shouted this one twice. But there will be a point I didn't want you to miss.

Well, just some of my thoughts tonight.... I've been up for a long time, so I hope this one came out alright. A long day. But, I think my point will be clear. Your thoughts, and prayers, and comments will be very much appreciated on this one. I'm serious about who I'll support, and I think this blog will tell you why. Can you Digg it?

Cast That Big Stone, Olivia

johnny2kjohnny2k sent a shout to srevie   2 days ago
This column got my attention this afternoon, and not in a very good way. It's another attack on Sarah Palin running for VP, only this time, it's from somebody on the Conservative side. While I greatly respect Olivia's values, and her opinion, while the traditional stay-at-home mom is a great goal, she gets a few things wrong, and in my humble opinion, it is relative to reality.

Now, be sure to do one thing for me. I blogged this column, and basically wrote my rebuttal there. I would appreciate your comments regarding my blog and this column by St. John. I think I brought up some points that Olivia really missed. On this digg, you can either go to "Who dugg this" which includes "Who blogged this", or you can see my blog simply by clicking here:

I really will appreciate your thoughts on this. This touches just every one of us! Whether we are parents or not, we were all KIDS at one time! Did your parents, or mom, or dad, work too much, and did you end up on the streets? Uhh, by the way, this isn't just about Sarah Palin - this is about us, just so you know. Many of us, as parents - just like Sarah and Todd - have had kids that made mistakes, right? Well, is Olivia saying it was our fault because Mom and Dad both worked, or what???

(Hmmm, let's see how this works today..... Did I touch any buttons out there? I hope so, because this is going to come up during "crunch time", as the Democrats and drive-by media has already proven.)

McCain's home run - by Janet Folger

johnny2kjohnny2k sent a shout to srevie   2 days ago
I needed to share this fantastic column by Janet Folger today. She lists all the great things that Sarah Palin will add to the Republican ticket. Like "Dr. James Dobson, who has said in the past that he would not vote for McCain, with Palin on the ticket, is now enthusiastically behind him with "the same excitement he felt when Ronald Reagan was inaugurated.", I am also now firmly behind McCain now that he has chosen Gov. Sarah Palin. Folger hits this out of the park!

A Christian Nation Growing Through Tragedy

johnny2kjohnny2k sent a shout to srevie   3 days ago
In an effort to show the contrast between now (Hurricane Gustav) and Hurricane Katrina, I bring you this post in my forum I wrote 3 years ago, on Sept. 1, 2005. And, the amazing part of it is, I think we really DID grow as a Christian nation in the last three years, and the previous experience was averted for the large part. Please read this one and then write your comments here. Can you Digg it? :)
