PowerBook Lower Memory Slot failure

True...if it breaks, it breaks. But if it breaks because of a widespread defect that affects 4700+ users (see the petition), Apple has a legal problem they'll pay for sooner or later. (see comment)

Agree...I have had my Mac Mini repaired under warranty, and my Powerbook's lower memory slot has died and is not in the range of machines being repaired by Apple for free for that problem. http://shaniacimac.blogspot.com/2008/06/powerbook- ... … (see comment)

Why doesn't Microsoft out-innovate Apple?

Comment in News (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 04/28/2008
Why out-innovate when you can just copy and claim innovation? When 90% of the world uses your software, who's going to know you're lying??? (see comment)

I use Safari too, though I use Firefox when Safari isn't supported on a website; this will be another example of that until either Apple changes or PayPal changes. (see comment)

I sincerely doubt SJ took the time to respond with those few sentences. I'm betting that an administrative assistant carefully goes through his email, so that he doesn't have to read customer service complaints. (see comment)

"Mac mindset" claim is more marketing than science

Comment in News (0 diggs, 1 reply) - on 01/21/2008
I'm forced to use PCs at work, so I prefer using my Macs at home. I've used BOTH since 1993. Give me any PC user who is willing to try a Mac for one month, and I'll show you a PC user who will never go back (unless forced to at work...like me). (see comment)
