The US Betrays An Ally Who Sacrificed Everything To Help Us

Comment in News (6 diggs) - on 05/12/2008
That's because Saddam was the USAs friend at that time. Who do you think supplied him the weapons? This currents administration even did the deals in previous office. "Because it shows only good things can be done by doing nothing right??!!" The road of … (see comment)

BioShock movie in development, Gore Verbinski directing

You didn't have to put any effort into the game at all. By the time I reached level 2 and realized that I couldn't actually die, by the time I hit the next level I was maxed out on my ammo. All you had to do hit everything with the spanner and respawn. (see comment)

BioShock movie in development, Gore Verbinski directing

The game had great graphics, reasonably good atmosphere and ok'ish storyline. But the game itself was horribly flawed. It was like playing Quake on god mode. Sure it was scary, but the fact you couldn't die killed the *challenge*. (see comment)

BioShock movie in development, Gore Verbinski directing

Actually what will be more interesting is if like me 10 minutes into the movie the hero realises he can't die at all and just whacks the big daddys to death with a spanner, happily respawning over and over until it is done. At least it can't be as bad a … (see comment)

Locking down laptops from the TSA

If you are American they can't force you. But they can take the machine off you or refuse to let you fly/enter the country (depending on direction). Non-Americans have no rights in US customs as they claim it is not US soil, despite technically what the … (see comment)

Locking down laptops from the TSA

Leaving the US a couple of years back a large number of international passengers were asked (myself included). Your laptop was taken off you and put through a separate scanner. The premise we were told was that the normal X-Ray scanner was stronger and wo … (see comment)

Locking down laptops from the TSA

Just to expand on what I mean by a dodgy laptop (which the article would make your laptop). If it is an old laptop and looks like it has been formatted and no browser history, or nothing of note installed on it they may take it. Unless your doing low leve … (see comment)

Funny but you will find Customs have no sense of humour. Even before 9/11 I saw some guy get pulled out of the line for customs for joking about bombs. They even had signs up saying do not make jokes like that. (see comment)
