We generate the MicroID from your Digg user profile URL (e.g. http://digg.com/users/Otto ) and the email we have on file for you. I was able to verify my Digg user profile on ClaimID (see http://claimid.com/sbw ), so I know it's working to some degree. … (see comment)

We're aware of this problem, and we're working on it. I believe the digg buttons are working correctly now, but we're still looking for the root cause. It wasn't a hack. (see comment)
