Don't be so harsh. Did T2 ruin The Terminator? Classic movies like Revenge of the Nerds may be diminished, but we all still liked the first sequel or two. Same with Nightmare on Elm St. And is Indiana Jones and the Ark of the Covenant shitty after _thr … (see comment)

The Shawshank Redemption - The Revenge of Red. That would be horrendous. As would Citizen Kane II. Or American Beauty. /looks like this list skips over the obvious sequel-less movies, which is good. (see comment)
