The only time I noticed a slow-down was when I forgot I had Beryl running and I tried to play a 3D game at the same time. The game was a little slower, but not a lot, given it was a 3D game running within a 3D environment! Running on a laptop with a 2Ghz … (see comment)

VirtualBox - VMWare killer?

I agree that this shows the promise of being a VMWare killer. I have it installed on my Ubuntu laptop, with it running Windows XP. I am extremely impressed with the speed that it runs both XP and Windows apps. I'd be hard pushed to tell the difference bet … (see comment)
