Actually, Russia did start the war. The first shots were fired by South Ossettia on the 6th. Georgian forces started their attack on the 7th. Up until then it was a regional conflict. The Russians escalated it into a war. (see comment)

Review: Towelhead is a Brave & Unsettling Film yet Hilarious
johndarkoFrom writer/director Alan Ball (American Beauty, Six Feet Under) comes Towelhead a quirky, risky, funny, compelling and unsettling film starring Aaron Eckhart and newcomer Summer Bishil. The story centers around a young Lebanese girl struggling with her sexual obsessions; based on Alicia Erian's novel of the same name. Yes, its an independent flick but it feels like more, bigger in a sense. I highly recommend Towelhead to anyone looking for something different.

Black immigrants, on the whole, fare far better economically than native-born blacks. A quarter of foreign-born blacks have bachelor's degrees, vs. 16% of those born in America, according to the 2007 study by researchers at Princeton and Penn. The median income for African-immigrant households is over $45,000, vs. $41,000 for black Caribbean-immigrant households and just under $36,000 for U.S.-born black households. Black immigrant children are more likely than native-born black children to be raised in two-parent homes.
