They look like KKK people. Let me guess, they are from a state in the bible belt, drive pickup trucks but have never actually been out of their state. (see comment)

The rest of the world rates at 100Km/h rather than 60M/h. 60M/H amounts to 96.5 Km/h so it's probably comparable to 3.5 sec. to get to 100 Km/h, which is the same as Ferrari F430. (see comment)

Most European countries changed to the metric system 70 years ago or so. Oddly enough, Canada is a bit of a mix, they measure water temperature in Fahrenheit but air temperature in Celsius. Go figure! (see comment)

OpenMoko 2008.8 Released
Comment in News (3 diggs, 0 replies) - on 08/10/2008
- iPhone is proprietary and requires you sell your soul to Steve Jobs (and mortgage your house). - Android is vaporware, no point really in talking about it. - OpenMoko suffers from neither of the above. But thanks for the very objective and argumented an … (see comment)

Hard to believe. With Bush at the rudder of my country, I would certainly be drinking more and not less. (see comment)

Some do, the Stallman followers, however the vast amount of practitioners have no issue with enabling a proprietary driver if it means they can play their game and get wobbly windows. (see comment)

Clearly yes. Empirical data points would indicate this. Apple is in a good steam these days, but so was Microsoft once, and IBM before them. The future is bright and free, embrace it. (see comment)

Denmark has the worst iPhone Data Plan ever.
Comment in News (-4 diggs, 1 reply) - on 07/03/2008
It's not the carrier, it's Apple that decides prices. Frustrating to us Danes especially since you can go out and buy other new Nokia smart phones and get full 7.2mbit 3.5G support and a 10GB limit for less. (see comment)

Forbes: Is Microsoft Better Off Without Gates?
Comment in News (8 diggs, 3 replies) - on 06/24/2008
Naaah, the reason for Microsoft's problems has more to do with that monkey CEO to Steve Balmer. Microsoft could embrace open source, literally kill Java if they wanted to but I don't think they have the vision to move on from their legacy business model. (see comment)
