Hi everyone!
Hope everyone's having a great week so far! I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving which I'll be out of town for a couple of days, so please don't remove me :)

Anyways, I'd like to share a story I found while going through your submissions. It's the 10 "biggest" milestones in web development - I don't fully agree with the list, but nonetheless worthy of reading for enjoyment. What don't I agree with? Rails isn't a milestone for a majority of us - a lot of us still continue to use PHP or .NET - and there's really no single innovation that rails has done that PHP hasn't already done; the only thing it - to me at least - has provided is nicer syntax (in the Ruby language). You see the downtimes in Twitter regardless of the application's simplicity? Blame it on Rails. Ever wonder why Digg, even with it's very complex features and higher traffic - manages to have very little downtime? You can thank PHP for that. Also, no mention of Ajax.

Enough ranting - sorry for such a long shout today (I know my shouts are long anyways, but this one got out of hand).
