Wind power could provide for 20% of all electricity needs in 20 years from now, an Energy Department report states. This is just as much energy as nuclear power provides us today. If the path is followed, alternative energy could cover more than 50% of US energy needs. With advancements in other renewable sources, that number could be even greater
