Fuel cell technology isn't new. Governments have been using them for space exploration for decades. This hasn't anything to do with Big Oil. It has to to with thermodynamics. (see comment)

Hydrogen cars are interesting toys but without a reliable source of fuel, they are unrealistic replacement for today's internal combustion cars. Natural gas conversion to hydrogen is the only "economical" way to manufacture hydrogen to date. I'd be intere … (see comment)
