I guess your right about the apps, but frankly I think facebook would be much better without them. I think there should be an option in the old layout to just hide all the apps. (see comment)

I don't like it. I am sorry it feels way to cluttered for facebook, I just can't tell what's going on with my own profile page and I still can't move around certain boxes. The tabs are great for my phone but there is no point to them when you have a large … (see comment)
