Why Has Obesity Gotten Worse Over The Years?
Why Has Obesity Gotten Worse Over The Years?
Comment in Videos (0 diggs, 0 replies) - on 07/21/2008
The first half of the problem describes the looming obesity crisis well. And then utterly fails to deliver an answer as to why it's happening, going instead into very obvious and bland platitudes about exercising more and eating less. A pointless video. (see comment)

Objecting to policies and expressing displeasure at the quality of the executive branch's decisions are wonderfully protected under the First Amendment. It's awesome that we live in a country where it's perfectly permissible to rant about how stupid our l … (see comment)

Why Hard Drives are Here to Stay, and SDD is just a FLASH in the Pan
Comment in News (-1 diggs, 0 replies) - on 10/18/2007
The reason why a 4TB personal hard drive elicited nothing more than a yawn is that local storage is pretty damned well near irrelevant. Sure, you need some 80GB or so to store your OS, caches of video games you're playing, documents you're in the middle o … (see comment)

Karl Rove RESIGNS!!!

Rove said the first thing he plans to do after leaving the White House is "go dove hunting in West Texas with family and friends, then drive my wife and the dogs to the beach." DOVE hunting? Killing birds of peace. I love the symbolism. Especially from … (see comment)

goldentofu - we give people their own (public/private) hosted wikis for free. Extra features (more control over who can access the wiki, what it looks like, more storage space) are offered for a paid subscription - it's kind of like web shareware. :) (see comment)

The OpenDNS guys launch PhishTank

An excellent idea - too many companies keep their own repositories of phishes; it's much better for it to be an open, central location for phish sites accessible via API. This is awesome, helpful, and brilliant. (see comment)
