the power output is only for 10^-7 s, and power is energy released PER SECOND, so it actually only consumes about as much energy per discharge as 100 normal households over the course of 2 min (according to wikipedia). (see comment)

The reason i am sending this again is to thanks the good people that decide at digg what makes the front page. This video is a tribute to our military, and I thought we missed it on the front page..apparantly, the good folks at Digg made an exception to the rule of 24 hours.....Thank you to all of my friends, both foreighn and domestic..that dugg this story...it meant alot to me. Bush as the victor and John Kerry as the military hero from the opposition party making a valiant but failed effort to look as much like the eventual winner as possible without offending his base of support.
