It's going to be episodic like Half-Life 2. They're doing this because the campaigns are going to be so large they don't want to make people wait for them to finish the entire campaign. I'm sure its for monetary reasons as well though. (see comment)

When its used as a heading "Pop" isn't plural. Only if you're talking about more than one. "Grab me a couple pops" for instance. I've seen certain places have "Pop" on the menu here in MN. (see comment)
