The guys gay, so he's probably been subject to bullying a lot. That was probably the final straw. The thing is if he would of slept on it, he would felt right as rain the next day. And probably though he was stupid for even thinking it. (see comment)

Solaris is most of the time legacy, or very very very high uptime servers. For your basic cluster of webservers linux is cheap and chearful. (see comment)

Most party's are close to the center, leaning slightly left or right depending on the party. If the party's were completely different it would be chaos. Since changing generally accepted things quickly would upset people (see comment)

There kernel is open source, and there not even required to do it. http://www.opensource.apple.com/darwinsource/ BTW BSD questionably considered more stable than Linux. (see comment)
