Actually, you don't. It's called a dry loop service and allows you to get DSL without having an associated landline. I haven't had a landline in over 4 years and use a voip service at home when I want to make long distance. (see comment)

I would too, but the f*cking Canadian cellular providers can't implement decent cell coverage and still charge astronomical fees for long distance services. (see comment)

Well, when you think that I doubt Sony cares what Nintendo does (nobody does, lets face it), and that Microsoft is only dominating North America, then yes, I agree that Sony isn't really competeing with the other two consoles. (see comment)
