"I Owe You This Much" used to make me so paranoid, lyrically, that remixed the vocal volume so many times that even I had no clue what I was saying. In angry frustration, I then just JACKED the vocals up the redline and yelled "FUCK EM IF THEY CAN'T TAKE A JOKE!" at my cat.
"REOW!" Spanky! agreed. This is his favorite song.
And I have always liked that guitar solo as I think it's my best, and simplest, guitar playing.
(BTW: I just got my guitar, Millinium Falcon, out of the pawnshp yesterday! It was in so long I forgot how to play. Falcon is so psyched about "being out of the joint" that she wants to start work immiediately on a new punk album. Although she does admit, it will take her a while to get over missing her girlfriend, a VERY controlling light blue Strat Domme. Hey cute!
I just found and dugg your story about the mood board. Now, although I do happen to adore large cock, I know absolutely nothing about interior decorating. I read the article anyway, and even though I didn't really understand it, I could still relate to it on some level. It almost sounds like the sort of process I go through when I sit down and prepare to write a new song, at least insofar as how colors form in my mind and organize themselves into conversations and stories. I go with the flow and the feeling, and try not to get too analytical about it (although a part of my mind does do that too at the same time.)
So, since I'm no expert on the subject, I refrained from making an idiot of myself in the comment section and am going to send it to a bunch of girls that are on my friends list and who have also sent me stories about the arts or design. Hopefully, that will get you a few hits and maybe start a neat conversation with some women who can speak informatively on this topic.

Hey, Luv.
Sorry it took so long to get around to, but I finally got around to the article you sent me, "music that can cause near death experiences." I was pretty harsh, with it though (see comments) i just felt that there may have been an interesting band there, but the writer of the article spent so much time showing off his AMAZING talents for wordplay that he never really got around describing what kind of music the band plays or what any of the songs might be about. I thought it was a crapily-written article about a band that might actually be pretty good written by a lameass journalist wanna be trying to score some street cred and get laid. But that's just me. Thanks for sending it, though. It did give me some ideas. And it was sort of nice as it reminded me of the sort of articles people used to write about REM when they were just starting out, before they became THE BIGGEST MOST IMPORTANT ROCK AND ROLL BAND IN HUMAN HISTORY and stuff like that.

I'm sure you're married and have good taste. I'm an idiot. I get overly excited about my own stupid little projects and am easily carried away. I should get out more. However, having NO social skills with the Fairer Sex, I tend to hide out at home under heavy objects. I did not mean to offend you or creep you out.
