Hey,

I was cringing the entire time when I was reading this story as I had kinda placed myself in the place of the boy and was just thinking about all the damage my mom would do to me and my reputation/school/friends. I was like really embarrassed for this kid. But as the story progressed the more I thought that maybe she did the right thing, and by the end I was convinced. I think this is a great story about just one person making a difference. What really sucks about this entire story is that all the pressure put on children can have serious health effects and are part of the reason that sports are so tainted today. It seemed to me like the coaches def played a hand in "silently approving" steroid usage and honestly it was like that at my high-school as well. They just turned a blind-eye on everything, and at least in this story things may shake up differently .. you will just have to read to find out. :)

I hope you like this one, I haven't been finding great stuff lately, but I thought this was worth bringing to your attention.
