After talking to AT&T over the phone they were able to remove the fan status from my account without a wait. They also said that AT&T corporate stores only received 30 iPhone 3Gs each. (see comment)

I talked to AT&T on the phone about removing the fan status on my account, according to them there is a 3 day delay and are again directing us to an AT&T store. (see comment)

You can get something like this at the bottom already, goto View > Show Path Bar, not as much info but great for letting you know where your at in relation to other folders. (see comment)
