Not true. The individual emirates have a great degree of autonomy and have separate economies. In fact, if you go to the UAE-Oman border, you would be greeted (or cavity searched, perhaps) by the Abu Dhabi Border Patrol, not the United Arab Emirates Bor … (see comment)

Inflation going up does not cause interest rates to go up. In fact, when the Federal Reserve raises interest rates, it actually slows inflation by reducing economic growth and reducing the cost of holding money. (see comment)
