OK folks. This is very serious, and could at best change American life as we know it if it escalates, but more likely would throw us into martial law after more false flag attacks on the homeland. Either way we are screwed. There are many other issues, the economy for one, that spell impending doom for our nation.

Now, I know this is not going to make me popular, but if I didn’t warn you my conscience would kill me. There is an afterlife, and there are only two possible destinations beyond this mortal existence. Everyone has heard what they are. The neocons and the religious right have set a very bad example of Christianity, and I was once highly critical of the God of the Bible myself because of the way the holier than thou crowd treated me.

Having established that, I hope to meet all of you on the other side. I pray for the nation and the world, but I pray for my friends more earnestly. I’m not preaching at you or claiming to be perfect (you all know I am far from it), it is the mercy of Jesus Christ I am talking to you about. Being a recipient of that mercy is what drives me to have an interest in the rest of the nation, the world, and other people. A few years ago I cared for no one but myself. I was an evil bitter person. Once a person realizes that God is not an old man with a stick going around looking for someone to hit on the head, and that he took on human form, lived on earth, and bled and died out of love for all of us regardless of how evil we have been it changes one’s priorities. Having received such grace is the only reason I am still alive.

I’m not pointing any fingers or calling anyone a bad person, but we all have a sinful nature that we require forgiveness for. The religions of the world offer many sage words and good moral advice, but none of them lead to the one and only God. The only way to God is through acceptance of his own sacrifice on the cross 2000 years ago in the form of Jesus. “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the father but by me.”-Jesus John 14:6 (KJV)
