This is a major blunder on the part of the Sadrists. The Shiites have a religous hierarchy similar to the Catholic church. This is like a mid level priest criticizing the Pope. Even the Mullahs of Iran don't have the authority to question Grand Ayatollah Sistani. Expect to hear something from Sistani shortly, and it will not go well for Sadr.
