Bugger...I've been learning Python and now I'll have to adapt to Python 3.0. Oh well, 2.6 will be around for a long time at least. (see comment)

I'm not convinced that telecommuting will become more universal, judging from my own past experience. I think it's more likely that the recession will accelerate the trend for offshoring of jobs, because bosses will have a more valid reason to give to off … (see comment)

True. Pretty much anything will run Damn Small Linux and be snappy with it too. It's a great feeling to run an OS that respons as fast as that does. (see comment)

There's already an excellent precedent for that in Linspire's Click 'N Run service. Ok, it didn't exactly set the world alight, but the basic idea is sound. (see comment)
