Ya know, I don't even know why I bother with this site anymore. It's turned into nothing but a soapbox for liberal policies - nothing more. Anything that doesn't fit into the the liberal worldview is buried while liberal viewpoints are glorified and found littered on the front page and in every topic area. Maybe I would like to come to Digg for oh hell I dunno, some tech news or something and possibly get a break from all the politics I'm bombarded with every day. Maybe I get tired of the bullshit and try and select topics that couldn't possibly be filled with political crap and the idiots still manage to publish liberal politics into every topic anyway - which of course are Dugg to tops of every topic. Liberal herdlings abound here. I used to visit Digg religiously all day long to pick up interesting stories and so on; now I barely spend any time here at all. There's really no reason to anymore. And no, I'm never going to drink the Global Warming kool-aid since that seems to be topic number one around here across all subjects. It's going to be real funny as these people grow old in 50 years and realize the planet is perfectly capable of fluctuating its own temperature regardless of what puny little man does. And please,get off the consensus bullshit - science is not about consensus. People are confusing science with politics. There is some good science regarding climate change out there - it's hard to find amongst all the political banter but it does exist. Some of it does seem to support the idea of man made global warming and some doesn't. Honestly I don't think we really understand climate well enough to really make an honest judgment. But that's not an acceptable answer for those who buy into the politics of global warming - there is only one proper path and you're either on-board or your not. Differing opinions must be squashed. And no, I'll never support any kind of bullshit tax so we can try and "save the planet". I have news, the planet has been warmer in its past and guess what, it saved itself. Besides, what is taxing people into poverty going to do to help anything? Nothing. If you're one of those that believes that global warming has us all fucked then shut-up and grab your ankles and YOU pay the fuckin taxes but don't try and make things harder for my family than they already are because of your crybaby political "consensus" that has less to do with real science and more to do with expanding socialism. I'm done here, I have more important things to do with my time than join in the chorus here. more …
