Totally agree. Whenever I hear of cases like this I just start to think that people have taken the patents to just wait until a big company(s) come around and start using it without asking so they can make some quick money. (see comment)

You would settle out of court because you pay lawyers by the hour. Even if you know you'll win, it can be way cheaper to settle quickly. (see comment)

The fact that her suit against Philips was settled out of court doesn't actually help her other suits. If she had won in court, that's a different story. Courts don't honor out of court settlements as legitimate legal standing. A judge doesn't decide on t … (see comment)

You're getting that backwards. "Lets make a baby" originates (for lack of a better word) from the feeling of love. While you don't need love to make a baby, if you have it, it makes you want to have sex more, ('love' and 'lust' are pretty much interchange … (see comment)
