The MacBook Pro doesn't have SLI either. It has two graphics cards, but only one can be used at a time, making it pointless. My PC has on board graphics on the mobo and the 8800 I put in it, but it isn't SLI since one is disabled. (see comment)

You mean those PS3 and 360 controllers that use... USB? It's not illegal by any stretch, but it's an asshole thing to do, and Apple only does it to keep the 'Made for iPod' money rolling in. (see comment)

IT's nothing to do with the DRM. The iPods won't let you copy files off an iPod. Hard Drive and the iPod is your only musical backup? Tough. There are ways around it, but they aren't iTunes. (see comment)

OS X has about a gig of printer drivers. A gig. Why doesn't it just download the printer drivers automatically when it detects the printer? (see comment)

I've had my MacBook for two years and haven't really used any of the iLife suite except for iTunes and iPhoto. All the other stuff seems great, but just not something I need, especially since my cheapy MacBook doesn't have a DVD burner. I'm now looking a … (see comment)

AV and such can all be had for free, and Vista doesn't need wiping like previous versions did (or at least not as often, still strong after 12 months). Honestly couldn't tell you about boot up times since both my MacBook and my Vista PC only restart for … (see comment)

We don't, or at least I don't, but devs have to do something to up the replayability scores for games that are considered long if they last 8 hours. I just finished The Force Unleashed in 5 hours. I'm pissed I wasted the money to RENT the damn thing for … (see comment)

I'm sure whatever was missed by COD 2 & 3 was covered in one of the 384 medal of honour games, Battlefield 1942 or Wolfenstein (for that bit in the war when Hitler summoned the demons). That's not even counting the countless games by smaller devs that n … (see comment)

No there aren't. About 99% don't. People don't need 9000 series nVidia cards to play indie games and I don't know of any that had a Mac version first. OS X isn't a gaming OS. Blizzard still codes for both, and EA are using cider to port versions over (wi … (see comment)

Well obviously. I've got an 8800, which by today's standards is shit. It's about half the size of a laptop and puts out more heat than, well... something very hot. IF you stuck that in a laptop it would be huge, heavy, with a battery life of about 42 sec … (see comment)
