Finally the storm is coming.

Comment in News (1 digg, 0 replies) - on 10/08/2008

Comment in News (4 diggs, 1 reply) - on 10/07/2008
For reference, guys: *** Just because they'd carve whole pieces doesn't mean they'd remove expansion. *** In fact, recent case photo leaks suggest that Apple will make the MacBook Pro MORE expandable by giving you access to the RAM and hard drive the s … (see comment)

Apple's Brick: A Radical New Laptop?

Comment in News (10 diggs, 4 replies) - on 10/07/2008
Repeat after me: Apple is a hardware company. They make money selling Macs, not Mac OS X. Moreover, a lot of the advantages of Mac OS X would go away if it needed to support 30,000 different drivers like Microsoft does. "It just works!" Not when there … (see comment)

So that's a vote for McCain, then? If you don't vote, the neoconservatives and religious authoritarians get free reign. (see comment)

Because you'd much rather shop from a store with half the music catalogue... what? Amazon MP3 and other stores are great, but the reason they're DRM-free is because the music labels are deliberately withholding DRM-free rights from Apple. If that's your … (see comment)

If you haven't figured out by now that it's a fake shot, you might as well just cover your eyes until Apple announces the new MacBooks, 'cause you're too trusting of rumors. (see comment)

iPhone heading to EVDO/Verizon for 2009?

Comment in News (0 diggs, 1 reply) - on 09/29/2008
Inaccurate - AT&T's agreement with Apple lasts until 2010 unless the latter somehow managed to get AT&T to take a heavy subsidy without extending the term of the contract. (see comment)

Palin should step down

Comment in News (3 diggs, 0 replies) - on 09/26/2008
Biden shoots from the hip; Palin simply doesn't know much of what she's talking about, full stop. There's a difference between being controversial and simply being under-educated for the role. (see comment)

Comment in News (6 diggs, 3 replies) - on 09/22/2008
It's not whether there's more or less regulation. Less regulation actually IS part of the problem (they removed leverage rules for banks that made this possible), but you can also institute regulation that specifically endorses reckless behavior just as … (see comment)
