He answered "If I gave you the boat,paid the taxes,paid for the crew,the docking fees,the maintenance and so on and the only thing you had to pay for was the fuel you could not afford it." That was 5 years ago.

    • ptemple, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0These yachts have swimming pools, home cinemas, Internet via satellite, on-board bars and dance-floors, hot-tubs on the roof, jet-skis, speedboats, as well as a stewardess that caters to your needs and a chef that will cook anything you desire. Sure they can still get bored, but no more (and probably less) than you would at home. It depends if you are surrounded by real friends, or people that have latched onto you for the freebies.

  • zadadka, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0I worked as crew on MVs such as these in the early 80's....in Port Gallice (Juan Les Pins), Antibes, Cannes, Villefranche & Monaco ...they were great (and rewarding) times, though often very long days.
    As I remember, if the owner got a half a mile per gallon of deisel per engine, he was doing well.

  • kansai22, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Maltese Falcon worlds greatest yacht. I have loved that yacht since it first set sail. Not only is the name epic but they design inside and out.
