- greenish13, on 01/11/2009, -14/+873I never would have guessed that the right side is Mexico and the left is the US.
- deaconyermouf, on 01/11/2009, -24/+464"San Diego", which, in German, means, a "whale's vagina"
- Omr1, on 01/11/2009, -6/+260I thought you were just kidding too.
- Locke23, on 01/11/2009, -9/+248Wow, thanks for pointing that out. Bias told me the opposite.
- irfanmp, on 01/11/2009, -0/+230Here's the location on Google Maps: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=san+diego&oe=utf ...
- hellalazy, on 01/11/2009, -1/+174Must be proficient in Frogger to cross the border.
- chiko032, on 01/11/2009, -11/+138The title told me the opposite.
- josephohsnap, on 01/11/2009, -9/+120go ***** yourself san diego
- tas08, on 01/11/2009, -7/+102Another clue - Knowing that San Diego doesn't extend all the way to the border.
- alanocu, on 01/11/2009, -25/+99A U.S State Department report on “non-natural deaths” of U.S. citizens abroad says that 128 Americans were victims of homicides or “executions” in Mexico between Jan. 1, 2005 and Dec. 31, 2007, and that a majority of these murders took place in Mexican cities located on the southern border of the United States.
The State Department issued a travel alert for the border region of Mexico, which remains current as of today. Be careful. - jayhawk, on 01/11/2009, -4/+76no, there is much Spanish in San Diego.
- salvadorwii, on 01/11/2009, -2/+73Border??

US
[The US is south of Canada....] - Platysquirrel, on 01/11/2009, -6/+66You can tell which is which because those buildings over there that looks like Taco Bell are totally genuine and NOT Taco Bell.
- Sokkratez, on 01/11/2009, -4/+60San Diego isn't Spanish. It's German for "a whale's vagina".
Don't you know anything? - alphgeek, on 01/11/2009, -1/+54Sensible of Mexico to build that giant fence to keep the Americans out.
- inactive, on 01/11/2009, -7/+58God Bless Ron Burgundy.
- plainOldFool, on 01/11/2009, -3/+52I'm Ron Burgundy?
- ltethe, on 01/11/2009, -0/+46Having been to Tijuana many times... That is a very flattering picture of TJ.
- 007isbond1, on 01/11/2009, -7/+48clearly, the one with a mexican billboard is australia
- hanger69er, on 01/11/2009, -13/+53uh, didn't the billboard give it away?
- AmyVernon, on 01/11/2009, -7/+46That's pretty stunning.
- aldolinares, on 01/11/2009, -0/+36Another think to add is that Tijuana right now is living a terrible situation of insecurity that every day (no kidding) there is something very bad on the news, some kidnapping, some people with his head beheaded, all the people i know talk about it, people are scare right now.
And they are not just doing it against rich people, if they can get from you 2000 dlls that's fine for them.
People don't want to go out.
We really need some help, the situation is really terrible.
just look at this news (spanish)

- GregR, on 01/11/2009, -0/+33Have a look at the last pic here: http://www.miss604.com/2008/06/metro-vancouver-par ...
- amdforever, on 01/11/2009, -1/+33***** titles.
- MCA2142, on 01/11/2009, -1/+29LOUD NOISES!!!
- ConfusedCartman, on 01/11/2009, -0/+27I have been to the end of the border fence, and it was patrolled by 2 guys with snipers and 3 guys in the water, I assume with more guns.
And there were Mexicans singing Foo Fighters songs right across the fence. Weirdest thing I think I've ever seen. - juneau, on 01/11/2009, -2/+29If you look closely you can see me buying Vicodin!
- RubberBinder, on 01/11/2009, -0/+27This is why we cant have nice things!
- pittpat, on 01/11/2009, -2/+28Not NEAR the amount of people going into Mexico as coming into the US!
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=san+diego&oe=utf ... - mk2ja, on 01/11/2009, -15/+41My logic was that the Mexican city would develop in the direction of the USA as far as it could. I don't know of many reasons for an American city to want to grow towards Mexico, but it makes a lot of sense for the other way. It wasn't until I clicked on the Digg article that I saw the link to the map and confirmed my guess.
- RemarkableRyan, on 01/11/2009, -2/+28"why'd you do it Ron, ya poop...poop mouth...poop coming out of your mouth...ya poop."

- freeferty, on 01/11/2009, -0/+24Milk was a bad choice
- malvado, on 01/11/2009, -5/+29your guess is wrong. tijuana started near the border and spread south, east, and west.
san diego started 20 miles away and has spread in all directions - including south towards the border.
plus, alot of that area is in a flood plane on the american side. - thethunderbird, on 01/11/2009, -1/+24Whoooooossshhhhh!
- gimpsta, on 01/11/2009, -0/+23You live in Tijuana?
- Thumper13, on 01/11/2009, -2/+24LOUD NOISES!
- jawni, on 01/11/2009, -8/+30***** kitties.
- macmcraeart, on 01/11/2009, -2/+22Once side Spanish, the other side Spanish.
Once side Mexicans, the other side Mexicans. - bixby1, on 01/11/2009, -3/+23hahahaha. I don't know about you guys but it's comments like this that make me laugh my ass off.
- super_spyder, on 01/11/2009, -1/+21I am guessing that this is sarcasm
- defectDS, on 01/11/2009, -4/+23how is babby formed?
- malvado, on 01/11/2009, -1/+19What you see on the left is the Tijuana River Valley. Mostly cropland for a reason. I know this because I grew up here:
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=32.561771,- ...
Came close to flooding a number of times when I was a kid.
What you also don't see so well is the border runs along a high bluff, so another reason there's nothing there.
And that's not a factory. it's water treatment to keep raw sewage from polluting the beaches. another regular occurence. The don't call it venereal beach for nothein. - Khast, on 01/11/2009, -0/+18Where I live, one could easily walk across the border...no fence, no divider.. only a stone obelisk every 100 meters until you get to the actual border crossing, then more stone obelisks. If you didn't know any better, there is absolutely no markers on the beach at the end of Roosevelt Rd. (Both sides!)
I think there is some pictures on Flickr. Look up Point Roberts. ;) -
