- RolanNorth, on 07/03/2008, -2/+23No idea why this is a recommendation. But it is amazing.
- AZRoboto, on 07/04/2008, -2/+21You will never see that basketball again.
- baysidecomedy, on 07/04/2008, -0/+162 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a large kitchen, faimly room and a GIANT ***** CLIFF in the backyard.

- ivan423, on 07/04/2008, -0/+13How do the inhabitants inhabit the habitat?

- BelatedHero, on 07/04/2008, -1/+10First pic reminds me of that Lost Coast level for HL2.
- Fishn2, on 07/03/2008, -0/+9Those pictures look really surreal.
It would be amazing to live there, the views must be pretty impressive.
Just don't take acid then visit. - thodah, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7Wow, if a cat falls down from a balcony there, most of its 8 extra lives will be used.
- jaybol, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7Ronda is awesome...I went there a couple years ago and those cliffs are amazing. i was bummed because the museum had a Goya exhibit of his bullfighting prints but it was booked for a private party the whole day i was in town. very cool spot though
- passedoutghost, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7Right, first step to get rid of the human virus is to go kill yourself. We'll wait and do the same after.
- 1337Einstein, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7carefully
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5wow. I'd hate to see erosion take away those fine homes :(
- KingGorilla, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Must suck to play frisbee there
- Dylson, on 07/04/2008, -2/+7Why in gods name would you want to build here?
- avatarpalin, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5You sir, made all caps as funny as hell!
*tips hat* - Sverre, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Natural selection probably favoured these kinds of towns in an era when your town needed to be defended against roaming brigands...
I've been to Ronda - it's definitely real. I have no reason to suspect that the other towns shown aren't real. - lamiaconfitor, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4and moutian climb back home?
- Kanele, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4you see, europe is far older than america, and it got wars where they would raid you on bare feet, so having your city in such a place makes sure you don't get attacked from behind, only one direction to check, to defend, it's plain logic really :)
- viewofeverlast, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4Very cool.
- smitas, on 07/03/2008, -1/+5How do the habitats stay there?
- feshmania, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4uh...inhabitants?
- MforMike, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3probably much safer than living on a beach somewhere
- MdmMimi, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3God! its scary and amazing at the same time! would love to see it for real..
- NathanCH, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3Erosion is a beautiful thing
- sint4x, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3I believe this one falls in the "diverse" category
- shondell, on 07/04/2008, -1/+4Or just get a hang-glider, jump off the cliff, and glide to work everyday. You'd be able to take in all the sights AND save money on gas!
- jameshighmore, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coastal_erosion
- 007isbond1, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2yeap right here.
- masterm1nd, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Ok, thanks for confirming they are real. But really, I wasn't referring to medieval times, unless that's when the photos were taken. But what do I know, I think it's insane how people overwhelmingly congregate on the ocean coast. Seriously, look up the stats behind it, it's unreal. I think it's either more than half of either the worlds or the US's population live in ocean counties.
- Carnil, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I've been to the third one, Castellfollit de la Roca, and I can guarantee it's real too. It's really impressive, and as Sverre said, they had to be very easily defendable places in medieval times.
- NYCvibe, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I visited Rhonda about a decade ago. Beautiful city. You can even hike to bottom of the gorge to watch the waterfall smash into the rocks.
- Yourepwned, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I also went there a few years ago and was looking for a restaurant to have lunch. I had no idea the cliffs were that impressive, and I just happened to pick the restaurant that you can see on the second and third pictures of Ronda (with the balconies, on the left). Not only was I astounded by the view, but the restaurant had one or two Michelin Stars and the food was incredible. I definitely recommend the place if any of you are planning to travel to Andalusia.
- warsongs7, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2...way to commit suicide.
- Sverre, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Ah, Ronda is just fantastic. I missed a picture of the "New Bridge" (completed in 1793) - a fantastic stone bridge spanning the gap.
- hollyminkowski, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2I see a few little satellite tv dishes up on those roofs...I'd hate to be the installer....eeeek
Or imagine being a roofer and getting called to work on the cliff side of those houses :-(
I'd put on 3 safety harnesses, each with its own brand new nylon rope tied around one of the inner houses....and wear a parachute. - mrbradg, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1***** that. Not living there.
- Delphium226, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1You wouldn't wanna get hosed and go for a wonder in your garden.
- anasuya, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Beautiful stuff. Great submission.
- gskill, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Amazing area but not much backyard real estate.
- jepizacar, on 08/03/2008, -0/+1nice resource....

- ozroy, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1I just recently visited Santorini. The town sits on the edge of a cliff that is the top of an active Volcanic Caldera (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caldera)
- cindysim212, on 07/07/2008, -0/+1Hopefully none of these home owners sleep walk. truly amazing stuff though!
- jpkunselman, on 07/05/2008, -0/+1anyone else reminded of assassins creed? The only thing that is missing is the pile of hay at the bottom.
